Still excellent food! The place has been through changes in management and name, but the chef is the same and the quality is still first-rate.
Got the assorted grill for app and entree.Just, YUM.This is probably what we're going to be getting next time, tho every time we've been here in its various incarnations, its all been amazing.Yinzers are awesome about being emphatic about their culinary endeavors; I've lived in NYC, SFO, Boston, Baltimore, and other smaller places in addition to PGH for the last decade. This place rocks and would survive, food-wise, anywhere I've been.
Very tasteless and dry meat, we have been to many Mediterranean places but there taste is very different in not a good sense.Table had a bad odor to it as well, would never go back.
Great service. Wonderful food. I am writing a review because this restaurant has absolutely the BEST baclava I have ever had in my entire life. I have spent time in Turkey, and Bosporus can hold their head up - simply amazing. Be sure to get baclava!!! I will be back!
These guys must be mad. I faced the same problem today. Food and drinks were good. They were very polite. We thought they were hospitable. After some time passed, I was subjected to visual, verbal and physical harassment by Mr. Adem in the restaurant. The person who says he has a video recording should send it to me. Please.
I came to this restaurant for the first time. I had a worse experience than I've ever had before. Mr. Adem harassed us. I think he could have gone further if the environment was right. We were so scared that he verbally and physically abused us and we left the restaurant. These behaviors may occur in your country. In our country, these behaviors are unforgivable..I will forward this thread and comment to everyone. This issue should not be ignored. Harassment cannot be forgiven. Mr. Adem, I will not forgive you for harassing us.
Mr. Adem harassed me as well. I wanted to comment to report this situation. I saw on the comment page that someone else like me has been harassed. I took a video recording of the harassment. There are videos and photos. I post them on my social media pages. You can also view the videos.
Ate in and had the eggplant stuffed with lamb with a coban salad. It was fantastic for the price
We ate here after attending and event at the Frick Art Museum. I had made a reservation. We arrived early but the host very politely seated us anyway without skipping a beat. Several other people were seated soon after us, but the host who was also taking orders remained very attentive and quickly took care of everything we asked for. I had Imam Bayildi and my husband had Chicken Adana - both were absolutely delicious. Save room for dessert - tea or coffee and some baklava are the perfect ending to a delightful mean. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered more baklava to take home. The décor is simple but lovely, well lit so you can easily read the menus, and the dining room is small, meaning less background noise. Put this on your list of places where you can have a great meal AND great conversation! We arrived at 6:00 pm on a Friday and the place was filling up by time we left. If you come late on a weekend, you may want to make a reservation. This is definitely a new favorite dinner spot for us.
This restaurant is phenomenal! The owner is so friendly and the price for the amount of food you get is very good. I tried their stuffed eggplant which is something I haven't had before but I'm glad I tried it. Their coffee and tea are served in attractive little cups Save room for the baklava, it was correctly made and therefore very tasty! I'd love to come back.
