Lively sports bar. Young locals hang. Mostly in their 20's. Loud rock music. Friendly bartenders. Kale salad was pretty good.
Listen. The place is loud as all get out. On any given night that I've tried to go here, it's been SO CROWDED and SO LOUD. Tonight was the first night I stuck it out. And let me tell you, the food here is crazy good. It's not your typical greasy, drunk-person bar food. I had perogies (okay), wings(also okay), and Mac and cheese (absolutely phenomenal.) But what went absolutely above and beyond for me was the service. The hosts and manager that greeted me at the door were very friendly and welcoming, but most of all my server-Sydney-was effing wonderful. She was totally on top of everything, so so friendly, and even though it was a ✨✨loud✨✨ bar crowd, she totally kept her cool and was crazy professional. When I return to this establishment, it'll be for the mac and cheese, and the beautiful service provided by Sydney. Five stars y'all.
Hands down the best wings in Pittsburgh (voted best too) with an overall menu that will not disappoint. The atmosphere of Bigham is great for all sorts of crowds. Service was top notch for a busy Friday evening. Love making the trip from the South Hills.
Great sharable portions and tasty, reasonably priced food with a decent rotating beer selection. Highly recommend the hot cheese bites for the table.
The food was delicious, but the loaded tots as a side were not worth the extra $. There just weren't a lot of them as the side, the flavor was delicious though. The service was amazing so I would recommend it on that alone.
The dry rub hot wings had me at hello. Crispy, tasty, juicy. Need I say more? Oh yeah, they're pricey. Then again, the price of wings has gone up everywhere, hasn't it? The hangover burger is on point. I get why it has that name, its like an epic breakfast in a burger with a little bit of a maple syrup taste. This sports bar is what Hough's in Greenfield used to be, and maybe better. The Achilles' Heel of this meal; the chips that came with the burger were stale stale stale. Must have been some old oil. Bleh!

Really good fun and a fun atmosphere. We had brunch on Saturday and while the place was really busy, our food was served quickly, came out of the kitchen piping hot and was really tasty. Everyone (all four) at the table really enjoyed their meal. Highly recommended.
Rating: 4.7 StarsI have been to Bigham Tavern several times, but this is the first time since I started reviewing food.Bigham Tavern is a lot of fun. They have numerous TVs, a clean environment, and plenty of space. To start, I ordered the Rhinegeist Snowcat draft. It was an above average wheat beer. A friend ordered a side of Hot Cheese Bites tossed in Gnarly Sauce for the table, and another friend ordered the Mount Nachos with Chicken. Both of these were excellent. The Gnarley Sauce has a fantastic amount of flavor, and it really made the Hot Cheese Bites taste great. The chicken on the Mount Nachos went well with the melted beer cheese. For me entrée, I decided to go with the Smokehouse Mac. Living in St. Louis, I love the combination of BBQ and Mac and Cheese, and I was not disappointed. The Smokehouse Mac had a lot of flavor, and I really enjoyed it. The Cavatappi pasta was perfectly cooked, and I loved how perfectly the flavorful smoked gouda, pulled pork, and Memphis sweet drizzle complemented each other. The portion size was generous, and the soft, warm pretzel stick was a nice addition.I concluded my meal with the $2.75 I.C. Lights since the Penguins were playing. While I.C. Light is terrible--especially for a native Pittsburgher now living in St. Louis and getting the freshest of Anheuser-Busch beers--it is a good deal. This was a great trip, and I look forward to hanging out here in the future when I am back in town.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I was hungry and read and reviews and went to this place. Ordered a soup and the soup bowl came with a hair on the side and I let the waiter know about she changed it I gave a second chance. My salad came with hair again. Never going back they offered me a gift card I wasn’t planning to go back to eat hair so I didn’t take the gift card. Left the place mad and disappointed.
