Having never tried their food, I needed a family style take out option and knew this restaurant offered this. I was pleased to see that their family style take out comes with a salad and bread at no extra charge and for the price we received SO MUCH FOOD. We ordered chicken marsala which was delicious. The person I spoke to on the phone was really nice and the staff at pick up were friendly. I will use this restaurant again for family style take out.
Always consistent homestyle Italian food. One of my regular go to spots when I’m feeling the need for some old school Italian but affordable. Spaghetti and meatballs this trip with a cup of shrimp bisque. Delicious. Known for having a great bar and an accommodating and friendly wait staff. Can’t miss here. Lots of parking. Separate dining room.
After passing this place for years not realizing it is a restaurant, we finally went with family. The food was very good but not cheap. The portions are adequate along with bread, soup or salad. The waitress was very accommodating also. Maybe they could change their sign so that many people don't think it is a banquet place or takeout place. They also have 2 extra rooms in addition to the main dining room.
There were 3 of us for dinner but only 2 good dinners! The Mediterranean Salmon was terrible. The dinner was saturated in olive oil. The salmon was NOT tender and flaky. It basically tasted like olive oil. The pale pink color had me thinking it was Farm raised and not wild caught.
The waitress Carol was PHENOMENAL! The food was delicious. The other staff were so prompt in refilling sodas and water. Vast array of choices from seafood to pasta. Very fresh food. Clean! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and cannot WAIT to go back!!!
A Google search while at South Hills Village turned this place up. Very happy we stopped. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant was very clean. The waiter provided perfect service and everything that was ordered tasted amazing. I recommend the scallops. Very pleased with this establishment. Will definitely stop again in the future to try out some other dishes.
The food here is fantastic. I got lasagna and it was to die for. I will definitely go back. Make a reservation or you won't get a seat.
It was a good experience until our food was cold and the owner/manager TONY with the gap in his tooth told us to never come back when we asked to not pay for the chicken that was cold. He was rude and disrespectful. I’ve never experienced something like that as a customer. Guess what Tony, take the money you make and get your teeth fixed. We won’t be back :)
Our son passed away, unexpectedly, on Dec. 26. We had the funeral luncheon at DeLallos. Tony could not have been more accommodating. Tammy, our waitress, was wonderful, also. Everyone raved about the food. Thank you, DeLallos, for making such a sad day easier for us by your compassion.
Had lunch on Thursday - we ate at the bar since there was a wait in the restaurant. The bartender was very friendly but the food was very slow in coming out from the kitchen. Several other customers were also dissatisfied with the timeliness of food coming from the kitchen. Ironically, if they were that backed up in the kitchen I would have expected the food to be really hot when it came out but it was not all that hot (temperature wise) when delivered. Would try it again but so far meh…
