Great food and excellent staff. The staff went out of their way to make this experience great. They were friendly and attentive. There was a very large group of us, including 4 young children,so we didn't make it easy on them. Thank you Barb's corner kitchen!

There was no wait on a Sunday morning, and that's what drew us in. The waitstaff was not overly friendly, but not rude. We got the classic eggs Benedict, and it was very tasty. The hollondaise was a bit split, but it was still very flavorful. The Belgian waffle was basic. Soft and not at all crisp. The kids and regular french toast was good. Coffee was meh. OJ and chocolate milk came in individual bottles.

great food! friendly atmosphere. highly recommend ?

Best low cost breakfast in tahn!

I’ve tried to give this place a second and third chance. But never again. The staff and owner need to keep their politics out of the restaurant. Everyone is entitled to their own political beliefs, but when you are a business owner you should not talk about politics loudly enough that the entire restaurant can hear you. You don’t know anything about some of your customers. I’ve been offended twice now by conversations overheard by staff/owner. I don’t care what they believe or what they talk about, but don’t have these conversations where everyone can hear them. Unless the only clientele that you want are straight white Christian men, as I heard you talking about this morning. Plus the food isn’t that great.

Heard great things about the place. Smelled great when i walked in. There was 2 tables open and we sat down at one. Granted the waitress was very busy and she was the only one working the whole restaurant herself while im pretty sure the owner or manager was just sitting there letting her drown. sat there with no menus no greet nothing for 15 minutes. i was being patient because i know how it is working in the restaurant business. then she proceeded to go to a table that came in 10 minutes after us first. never came over. we walked out after that because there was just too much going on and shame on the guy sitting and not helping.

This place was great and I will definitely go here again when I want a full breakfast. If you're looking for an "elegant", "trendy" or "cutesy" place...this is not for you. This is a real, down home diner with all the friendly characters, shaky tables, and quirks.I ordered "the kitchen sink omelette" thinking that may include just all the usual fillings. I then attempted to order 2 more eggs and a side of home fries because I've never been to a place where I filled up on one breakfast meal. The server made sure I knew the omelette was actually a 4 egg omelette and already came with home fires....and I'm glad she did! I was full and satisfied with no extras.. which hasn't happened in awhile.Always had a full cup of coffee, food delivered fast (especially for 4 meals!), prices were so cheap! and tasted amazing.

The atmosphere was nice the waitress was really good, the Food was just ok I ordered Ham, Scrabble Eggs and Home Fries the Ham was very thin and over cooked I was charged extra for Peppers and Onions in my Potatoes and I definitely didn't like that.

So rude. Took an extra minute to figure out what I wanted and the waitress was loudly gossiping to the other one about how I simply messed up, just made me feel off not the vibe for real. Unbelievable.

My dear friend came in from out of town and we met there for breakfast. Very early, they opened the door for us, coffee was hot, tastey and the waitress friendly. When the food arrived, it was hot and well cooked , nicely presented. The four of us all enjoyed our meals. The absolute best part of our visit to Barb's was how very kind they were to let us just sit there and visit and catch up on the last 40 years . We all appreciated that and we will definately return.
