Great service, food and drinks! Will definitely be back!
Really enjoyed the food and wine here. Our server shared a wealth of information on each wine and also had us sample complementary wines later in the meal.The chicory salad was excellent with a blend of bitter, salty, sweet and fatty flavors. The gnocchi were delightfully pillowy and paired very well with the heavier sauce.The only "downside" was being seated by the curtain separating the restaurant and wine shop. Perhaps there is a better solution to make that nook feel more considered.
Bar Marco is garbage.They serve lunchmeat and tuna paste as your appetizer.
We had a dinner here after a two-year pandemic hiatus. It was wonderful for many reasons: simple menu with lots of creative dishes and drinks. Great atmosphere, friendly, responsive staff. Great place for a meal with friends. Good portions, quality ingredients and thoughtful seasonal menu. We’ll be back again.

Bar Marco, a strange little place with great food. Service was a little off however the host was great. I really want to go back for the wine & food pairing inside.I will offer this bit of unwanted advice. The price of the food is definitely worth it from a quality standpoint however serving it on paper plates with plastic cutlery isn't a good look. They're a little too hipster for their own good but food is fantastic so I'll absolutely be back.
Union Hall was PERFECT for our tiny wedding. Andrew, the manager, is a delight to work with - very responsive and accommodating. The food was seasonal and delicious - and Shelby served up the best cocktails and wine. Lovely ambiance, amazing food/drink, and talented staff - many thanks!Another amazing part about the space is the art they showcase. During our wedding the artist was Pittsburgh-based Zoë Welsh. My husband I were lucky enough to snag one of her pieces that was on display during the wedding!
Came here for anniversary dinner. Great experience, and really impressed with the food. The outside seating is nice and doesn't feel overcrowded. First time, but should have been coming here for years. Will definitely be back.
Great experience, primo drink and wine list. I would have tipped but I couldn't because they get paid salary and benefits. All restaurant's need to treat there employees like this !!!
Stopped in for a drink prior to dinner. Still not serving a full bar due to covid restrictions. While we did not try any of the food, the drinks were not as good as they were a few years ago. While I understand the limits that covid has created, the place is frankly put not a good bar now. Haven't tried the food, may come back later. It's a shame because this place used to be the best bar in Pittsburgh
