Let's just say it was a 90 degree day and their air conditioning was broke AND I'm still giving them 5 stars. Delicious food. We had the curry puffs, mok (catfish), and veggie see you noodles. All fantastic.
Be careful when you order from GrubHub from them. Rather than calling to tell me they didn't have something on the menu they substituted it with something else. Then when I came they wouldn't give me a refund , rather they said u needed to call. When I was on the phonw with GrubHub they told me that the restaurant in fact could do it. And guess what. While I was on the phone one of the servers / employees actually did just that. Why would one person who works there tell me onw thing and then someone else do something else. Ugh. Haven't had the food and I already have a bad taste in my mouth.
Been coming to Bangkok Balcony since I was a kid and it was one of my favorites. I don't know what happened, maybe new ownership? Everything is way too saucy, and even at a 6 level spice there's no spice. And look at these Brussel sprouts. They're drenched in gross oil

As a delivery driver, I almost never turn down an offer from Bangkok Balcony. I think of it as the land of a few dozen smiling faces, fr!Of course, you're going to have to wait a few minutes. This place is BUSY for a reason!But you'll spend those few minutes over by the bar surrounded by laughter and the intoxicating smell of good cooking with friendly staff hustling to make sure everyone under their roof is happy. Your customer will be pleased, you'll get no complaints.Definitely on my list of places to bring my friends and family next time we go out to celebrate.
Great food with good vegetarian choices. Menu seen online wasn't matching with menu in restaurant, but they made us what we wanted from online menu. Had tasty and good veg fried rice, with green curry gravy, medium spice. The lady who took our order was very knowledgeable on veggie menu options.
The slowest staff I have ever met. I waited an hour for my order. They made a bunch of orders that were unnecessary and no one took them. Why my order was not a priority, I do not understand, because I have already come for it. Quickly serve only those who eat in the institution, for tips, I guess. Delivery drivers are also at work, that was wild disrespect. An hour later, they said that they had lost my order and I had to wait some more. If they don't respect drivers, why don't they respect people who order online through apps. If you have other priorities, then why conclude a contract with deliveries. I asked 3 people all the time about my order and they said that they were packing it. Why are they lying? They didn’t even tell the kitchen that I was waiting for their order, but answered in such a way that I would lag behind them.
A very cute second floor restaurant with a glass overlook and signs that provide a neon-nostalgic atmosphere. The food was amazing and the menu had a lot of variety and unique dishes.
probably the best pad thai in squirrel hill. the curry puffs were really good as well.
