Had the best lunch!!!! Went with a dear friend whom I haven't seen in a while... The food was great the conversation was greater... And the whole day was the greatest!!

One of my worst dining experiences in Pittsburgh. Ordered queso which came out 45 minutes after sitting down with our meal, even with the place being near empty. Burger patty was small and bun was soggy. The “cucumber salad” side was simply cucumbers covered in ranch. Waitress was oddly rude and aggressive towards patrons and fellow staff. When you make patrons wait, forget to bring their food out, etc., you discount the meal. This was not worth $30
I like to dine alone a lot. Just enjoy checking out new places and I feel like you can really concentrate on the food when you’re alone. I had medium expectation for August Henry’s but was pleasantly surprised.I had the queso burger (or maybe it was called the chipotle? Not sure). Very good. Definitely on the conservative side if you order medium but that’s fair enough. It was still great. I imagine the cooks just play it a little cautious due to customers who don’t actually know what they want.Server was very friendly and attentive. Sometimes this is hit or miss if you’re eating alone but they hit the note just right.Sweet potato fries are excellent. Only thing missing is maybe something to dip them in? I didn’t ask so not sure. I will next time.Will definitely return
1. my ranchero salad was insanely amazing!! if you don’t like a lot of dressing on salads make sure to order salsa and creama thing on side! I ordered the fried chicken with it but it was a little tough. the batter around the chicken was light and fluffy so I still give that a 5/5!2. my bf had the honey chicken sandwich and he loved it. we are tourists so of course the fries were like crack.. i don’t know what’s so sweet about them but they were awesome. he loved the roll and chicken as well!3. they are short staffed but accommodated us perfectly. the glasses are also huge so that was good because we didn’t need refills. Definitely give it a try! very unique menu
Got a burger and drink from here on a hot afternoon. Most of the time was spent listening to one of their employees complain to another employee about how bad the customers are at tipping. I left a pretty good tip, but would have left a better one if she had kept my drink filled instead of complaining to her coworker how bad her customers are at tipping. Burger was tasty, drinks were cold. What more could I ask.
Idk if it’s because my skin color or that I’m in a full 3 piece suit however iWas not once greeted, stood at the bar for more than 6 minutes & my order was never taken.!! Door says short staff however at this very moment location is not as busy so what’s the excuse for me not to be served.?? Very disappointed very rude, I’ll be sure to make sure my business & colleagues do not return to this location.!! Very poor service idk if it’s just racial or what but not acceptable.!!
We entered this restaurant during lunch rush and it was pretty empty. We ordered burgers, fries and drinks. I ordered the burger with onion straws, cheese and bacon jam. When served- all the toppings were at the bottom of the burger so the bottom bun was soggy. I couldn't even eat the rest of it - which is a good thing because I got food poisoning. I got sick within 10 minutes of leaving the restaurant. I was hopeful for this restaurant but I won't be back here again.
