Spicy Salmon roll - the salmon appeared pasty and minced, instead of the feel of the salmon pieces - it did not taste like salmon at all. Could only feel the tough bits cucumber. Disappointing. Not repeating this establishment for sure.
Their food is always tasty and the restaurant is always clean. I enjoy being able to order ahead for pick up. I also appreciate their rewards system that allows me to earn free appetizers and entrees.
Not good! We're not actual maki rolls! My food seemed slapped together, not rolled evenly or the same size.
This is an awesome idea and place! I love it because you can create your own sushi, which is impossible around the area because everywhere else you go the sushi is already made. I am picky about what I get in my sushi and here I can have it exactly how I like. This will be my new go to restaurant! Thank you
Overpriced and small portions. Their “burrito” is the same as their sushi roll except they just cut it in half. Spent $25 for just 2 burritos. You’re better off going to a genuine sushi shop and avoiding this chain
This is one of my go to lunches! Their sushi burritos are light but still filling and there are plenty of veggie options for fillings to add some great nutritious choices. I like to add on gyoza as a side sometimes because they’re my weakness. Their staff seems to change a bit because a lot of them are busy students, but I still have a good experience when I go because they train them well!Update 12/6: I had a weird experience with my delivery order today where they gave me a roll even though I ordered a burrito. Not a huge deal, its not that different, I’m just confused. I’ve had one or two minor issues with delivery before but this was really strange. Since this spot is by Pitt and their staff is mostly (if not all) students, the quality seems to drift around things like finals and breaks. I’m not blaming the students here, they’re doing the best they can.
Wow. They totally ruined this place. The greens taste gross. No more spicy salmon. They give you a tiny scoop of regular salmon. Do not recommend
