The interior of Alta Via is packed with tables that are too close. There was loud music playing through interior speakers that made it difficult to have a conversation. The food was mediocre. I had chicken, which was dry and not very flavorful. My wife had Branzini fish which was also a bit overcooked. The prices are too high for what is offered on their limited menu.
Our server was out of this world. He was knowledgeable and attentive. Our meals and drinks were superior. The whole dinner was so enjoyable.
The service was a little slowâ¦we had a moderate wait between our appetizer/salad and our entree. We ordered gelato and they were having trouble with the machine. Two of us received our order while the other came after we were finished with our desert. We thought that perhaps the one gelato should be comped due to the delay. Overall we were very pleased with the foodâ¦very tasty!
The service was excellent. Food tasted superb. Nice place.
My late wife did not make to what she with Italian Heritage was anticipating as we are big fans of the Big Buretto. My kids take me there since it is my favorite. They can eat vegitarian style and we all share plates I had requested a quieter table if possible. The room was not crowded, yet as an Vet who had ear damage occur, I had a hard time hearing wait staff and my granddaughter. But that did not prevent me from loving my bronzino and Negronis. Next Week, Alta Via for Malfaldini. (And Negroinis)
The pasta dishes were really good and not your normal spaghetti, lasagna, etc. Our server was knowledgeable about the food preparation and the wines.
My brother was in Italy 2 weeks ago. He said the food was better at Alta Via. Itâs superb. We had a great experience. Service was also wonderful. Highly recommend!!
Loved the atmosphere at Alta Via! You are greeted immediately when walking through the front entrance with full attention and smiles. The food is ala carte which is kind of nice so you can try different homemade dishes on the small menu. Everything is fresh, simple and full of flavor just like Italian food is intended. The pastas are my favorite to order since that is one of my favorite foods and they are made fresh daily with homemade sauces.
Delicious. Friendly and good service. Small servings were quite small and large were too big. Somewhere in between would be perfect.
This was my first visit to Alta Via and it did not disappoint. Everything that the Big Burrito Group does is executed flawlessly and to the highest standard. The food was wonderful, the service excellent (Thank you Laura!) and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Well done!
