Great experience for our first visit! The staff and owner (I presume) were incredibly nice. We were the only ones sitting outside and kind of out of the way but the staff were very prompt and friendly. The food itself was very delicious, but the service itself makes us wanna go back!
Hearty, delicious, and authentic sandwiches in a welcoming family environment. I had the Northside Grill and it was truly incredible. Owner is a lovely guy! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
This place was great! I got the reuben and it was hot and delicious and came out super fast. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. The prices were really fair and the atmosphere was perfect with a lot of local diners. We'll definitely come back if we can.
A great place to go on the north shore. Online menu is completely incorrect with prices. Today, i ordered 4 cheeseburgers @ $3.95 +$1.95 for fries, Order came to $46.33 because their burgers are $8.95, so do not go off of online ordering prices they are wrong. Big shame bc this place has incredible food and vibe. We ate the food bc there wasn't anything wrong but $50 on cheeseburgers is a tough sell lol

Best food hands down. Clean friendly just all out 5 out 5 stars for me. Want a good sandwich or real food. This is the spot to be at on the North Side

Great location for a sandwich spot. The place looks like it's been there quite some time and it had a very homelike feeling as I entered the restaurant. I ordered one of their specialty sandwich "Steel City Stammer" and it was very delicious. It had freshly cooked roast beef with gravy sauce and side of french fries. They offered various choices of their specialty sandwiches.They also offer breakfast meals too.I definitely will come back to try their other specialty sandwiches. I highly recommend grabbing a sandwich here.
Loved everything about the Allergy Sandwich Shop. The portions are generous, they use real food and fresh food, and the staff are so pleasant and helpful. The food comes out quickly and hot. Free parking lot too. It is a slight step back in time to the Pittsburgh when you knew other people you passed on the street. That is the feeling it gave me, Mr. Rogers' Pittsburgh. My only constructive feedback was that the steak on my steak salad was cut first and then cooked. My guess is that this saves time or helps with portion control but I would always prefer to wait longer or pay more to have it cooked whole, then slice it.
I have been on a Ruben kick, and while many have been good, this place has the absolute best Ruben!!! For about $10, you get an amazing sandwich, chips, and a pickle.Everything we've tried is delicious, the place is clean, and the staff is friendly!Definitely worth a try!!!
