I have been purchasing Zitner's coconut cream eggs for many years (I am 89) and this year I was so disappointed. Every box of 9 was stale, eggs completely hard, and filling oozed to back of egg. I called and spoke to D.Kirkland several weeks ago and she was surprised and I sent a picture to her. She said I would be receiving a package in a day or two and I am still waiting.

I have been buying Zitner Easter candy for years. The quality of the 8 pack eggs and the large butter cream eggs has sunk below my satisfaction. The large butter cream eggs are chalky and extremely difficult to cut. Most of the candy crumbles into dust instead of being creamy. The 8 packs of coconut cream eggs are stale and soapy tasting. Not to mention the cream that oozes out the chocolate and hardens and sticks to the plastic trays on all varieties. The chocolate itself has signs of being stale. I have been trying to locate expiration dates on the boxes but I have yet to find a date other than the “Fine Confections since 1922.” I’m going to stop buying Zitner products which isn’t really going to affect me because I very rarely find my once favorite butter cream eggs.

My favorite candy until the last couple of years. I always buy butter kraken eggs. Lots of off flavors and signs of old product. I just bought coconut cream eggs, hoping they would be better. They are all stuck to the plastic tray and the "cream" is hanging out of chocolate on three of the 8. Something is wrong. How can my favorite Easter egg become a hot mess???

The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the peanut butter eggs have not been consistent. One box was dried out and another had lumps of sugar throughout the peanut butter filling.Edit to add 3/4/22I just opened my FOURTH box of messed up peanut butter eggs. Again with the filling not being completely blended. I can't be the only person that has run into this problem.Stamp: 212638 purchased at ShopRite, 1575 N 52nd Street, Philadelphia, PA

I have been buying Zitner eggs for many many years. I buy several flavors. This year the product is already sold out. I cannot find the Buttercream eggs or any of the eggs in either of the 3 Acme stores near me. I am located in Ocean City, NJ. What do you suggest?

I have always loved Zitner's Butter Cream, Butter Krak, and Peanut Butter eggs.Eggs. Never hadproblem with stale candy. It would be a good idea to put an expiration d date pn the box. Thank you!

I always look foreword to your eggs at Easter so when I recently saw them in the acme. I was delighted and purchased the coconut cream 2 boxes. I couldn't even open the box and had to tear it. ? syrup of se sort wS sticking to the box and covered the eggs. Several eggs were packaged upside downUnfortunately I had to throw them out ! I also took pictures if you need them. I'd really appreciate a refund or replacement.

I just bought a box of peanut butter eggs at the Acme on Naaman’s road in North Wilmington. They had a musty smell and an unpleasant after taste. Both my wife and I stopped eating at half an egg.The best way I can describe it is that they smelled and tasted old.The box is stamped 212639. I just hope they are not warehousing and reselling last year’s stock.

My family was so disappointed in the box of 8 Krak Kringle Delights purchased for $6 to $7 at Giant at Christmastime for my coconut lovers because it was literally inedible. There was no plastic wrapping on the product. Even though the bb date was 12/30/21, the white filling is so stale you could break a tooth trying to bite into it. The outer chocolate is cracked, exposing the white filling. I'm not sure if this is a packaging issue, a very bad batch (worker sabotage?), repackaged unsold Easter candy, or if the candy was stored or transported at improper temperatures. I've lost my faith in the brand.

My favorite dark cream chocolate once a year. This year was different. Bought 3 boxes from Acme, all the chocolate was cracked up and stuck in the tray. It was a mess !
