Chinese Dim Sum
(215) 271-3388

Just moved to Philly and was craving dim sum but did not want to go all the way to chinatown. This was in walking distance so I've been wanting to go. Some other reviews seem overly negative so I was skeptical but i recommend just experiencing it yourself as others have said.Came at 2:30 pm on Sunday. Few tables of mixed ethnicities but no wait. They had two carts going around. Other than that, it's made to order so no concerns about freshness. Had pork shumai, har gow, shrimp cheung fun, fried shrimp ball, and salt and pepper squid. Very basic items. I'd order everything again except the har gow but just because I prefer the cheung fun. There's other items id like to try, I just ordered too much already. A little under 40 including tip for 5 dishes primarily of seafood.Service was also good in my opinion. No frills or fake smiles, just served the food and took my empty dishes but was very tentative to my table. After being idle for about 3 minutes I got asked for boxes. Went to the counter to pay with my slip, left my tip, and was on my way. They serve dim sum all day which is a major perk. Might not be the best dim sum I've ever had but was certainly enjoyable enough to want to return especially based on convenience for me. Also no need to aggressively call over carts or fight with other customers over a serving. The hot oil is really good too. It's actually spicy which is typically a let down at other places including nom wah. Took a sauce container filled to the brim for the left overs. Is it an outstanding experience? No. Does it leave you satisfied? Absolutely. That's all I want when it comes to food.

The good thing is I rarely need to wait for a table here, the food options and quality are ok if you want to get something basic. It's strange I always don't know if the place is open because it looks so dingy outside.

They didn’t give me the receipt, feel so weird. No one eat there as well…And then i threw up everything like crazy after i went home…I think there really something wrong with the food there..

Parking is tough as the lot is usually full. More parking on 11th st. Great dim sum and reasonably priced. Great service!

I usually come here for their dim sum. Their dumplings are delicious. They are well seasoned and have a hint of a homemade feel. Similarly, their chicken feet, baos, pork ribs, fried shrimp balls, and rice rolls are fantastic as well. The only drawback that I can say about the foods is that they don't have that one thing you MUST get (well, that I know of).The service here is quick and friendly. You get to your table right away, even when they are busy. Please remember that this is an Asian restaurant; you have to call the waiter, waitress, or the food cart ladies if you need something. So don't be shy and don't be over-aggressive. Don't be afraid to ask what's in the lady's food carts. The price was a tad higher than your usual dim sum for one. Overall, it's a very good place. Come and check it out and experience it for yourself.

If you are thinking about going out to a Dim Sum restaurant, do yourself a favor and go to Wokano.I have been there two weeks ago for the first time and everything I ate was excellent. It's now my go to place for Dim Sum.

Disappointing to even be called a dim sum place. The carts barely have any variety. I would check elsewhere, no offense, maybe just not enough business for more variety, but until then, this stays at 1 star.

Good place for a nice meal with friends.

Pretty good place for dim sum. I like the shrimp shumai. They offer take out too. Jellyfish was aight. Stuffed Crab claws are soo delicious. I had sesame balls for dessert. Parking in the plaza is always trash.

Great Chinese restaurant with a big parking lot.
