Over 3 years ago I started to plan a wedding for my daughter. Then the world shut down due to Covid. We rescheduled and postponed several times but stayed with all the vendors we chose while planning. One of these was Whipped Bakeshop in Philadelphia. What a pleasure working with them. Zoe and her staff were amazing to work with. They were kind, patient, helpful and most importantly…the cake and cupcakes we selected were super delicious!! All our guests said they were some of the best they ever tasted!!! I recommend them 100%!! ? ? I give them a 5++++ review?
Whipped Bakeshop did our wedding cake and the experience was amazing. We were able to do a tasting in our own home due to COVID restrictions and have a zoom to pick the flavor. We talked through all of our favorite designs and estimated cake size and it was such an easy process. The cake on our wedding looked beautiful and Whipped bakeshop decorated it with all the florals.I could not recommend anyone more, such an easy stress free process with a beautiful and tasty wedding cake.
Whipped did an amazing cake for my daughter’s baby shower. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined, guest couldn’t believe it was a really cake! The dinosaur is so cute my daughter has it in her freezer while she is figures out how to save it. The vanilla cake was so good. I also got chocolate cupcakes that were truly amazing. First time, there were no leftovers on the dessert table. I would highly recommend Whipped Bakeshop.
I worked with Zoe on custom designed cookies for a baby shower. The process was so easy. I filled out a request via their website and someone was in touch with me within a few days. We set up a phone consult where we talked through what I was hoping for in terms of design. After the meeting I was sent a breakdown of cost and design options based on my preferences. I also asked if it would be possible to get a test cookie since I had not had their products before and Zoe said it was no problem. The shop was easy to get to and I had no trouble finding parking for my order pick-up. Bonus - The cookies are delicious! Super thick and the perfect mix of crunchy on the outside plus soft on the inside. The icing is not too thick and not too sweet - just the perfect combo. Each is individually packaged and perfect or party favors. Start to finish, it was an easy and lovely experience. I highly recommend anyone looking for custom baking to check out Whipped! They are awesome!
I ordered the St. Patty's Day cupcakes. The cake was super dry, the icing on the chocolate stout was good but, the cinnamon icing was extremely sweet. At a $16 cost, I expected 4 delicious nice size cupcakes. I would not recommend Whipped.
We worked with Whipped for our baby shower cake and it turned out fabulous. They took the art direction and made the most beautiful confection, far beyond what I could have imagined! Our guests raved about how adorable the decorations were and how delicious it tasted.
Awesome tasting and amazing looking! This was our first order from Whipped - but will not be our last. Not only was the cake fantastic, and exactly as ordered, but the ordering process was easy, and the cake was delivered during the time promised. The cake was tasty, the Oreo cookie filling amazing, and the butter cream smooth, not to sweet, and not too much - leaving the cake the star!
We used Whipped Bakeshop for our wedding cake. They were wonderful to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Our cake tasted great and looked beautiful. Zoe worked us to help us create a design that incorporated my husband's Portuguese heritage into our wedding day and we couldn't have loved it more.
Someone recently suggested this bakery to me but I purchased a cake from them last year. I ordered the cake 3 days ahead of time and scheduled a pick up time. The cake was okay, but they didn’t tell me it was going to be frozen so even a few hours after reaching my destination the cake was still ice cold. I didnt understand, if I had a scheduled pick up time why the cake couldnt be left out to thaw. I have never received a frozen/cold cake from a bakery I won’t order from them again the taste wasn’t worth the price. And I don’t like cold cakes.
We hired Whipped for our wedding cake and they did not disappoint. We had the best time designing the cake with Zoe and the cake turned out fabulous! They also worked well with our florist to incorporate live blooms the day of the wedding. The cake was both delicious to look at and to eat. We have zero complaints and will use Whipped for all future events needing baked goods!
