Right off the bat greeted in such a friendly manner; everyone here was so attentive and genuinely kind! Happy hour specials on drinks and food 5-7 on weekends; great value. I loved the rose gold cocktail ! My boyfriend tried a whiskey flight and really enjoyed the experience. Steak frites & burger were excellent. Definitely returning (:
Average food with even more mediocre service. It is really sad because we were returning after a power outage where we didnât get the full experience so we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, service was very slow, 3 of the 4 entrees came out to only have the only one that wasnât cooked come out ten minutes later. For the food - Popcorn shrimp: there was too much breading for how small of shrimps these were. The buffalo aioli was delicious though Fried pickles: the only restaurant to have done it right. Half slices that were fried so you didnât lose all the breading after one bite (this too with the buffalo aioli for a nice kick). Highly recommend. Tater tots: they had an odd bbq/smokey flavor to them. The smoked onion crème fraiche was eh. Double smash burger: not special. It wasnât bad just not wowing. Turkey smash burger: oddly good, but too much bread for the patty size Village burger: this is HEFTY. I mean a thick patty so be prepared. Juicy. Yummy. Recommend. Duck fat fries: didnât taste any different than any other fries weâve had. A little too thick for my taste. Smoked salmon BLT: DO NOT GET. The sourdough was too thick for the sandwich since there was barely anything in the middle. You barely get a SLICE of smoked salmon, so little that youâre maybe tasting a little bacon, and certainly mostly bread. Very disappointing. Overall, fine for an American pub night out, or for happy hour, but otherwise there are too many other great places in the city to go to.

Noise level based on our eating outside. Food is always consistently good
Just some tips to make this place great: Fix the lighting. It made the place feel unalive and unwelcoming in a big way. Illuminate the bar and get brighter warm hues in chandelier. Especially against bright of kitchen it looked like half the electricity was out! Think about seasoning food a bit better. Fries lacking flavor. Other dishes too. I think this place could be great—just needs some tweaking!
