One of the classiest Vietnamese restaurants in Philly, you enter into a huge open space that is both comforting, and beautifully adorned. The staff is welcoming, and the food is truly next level. I had the steak vermicelli, and it was perfect. The Vietnamese coffee is delicious, hot or cold, and the Shrimp Spring rolls were huge and filled with plump shrimp and veggies. What an amazing meal! I will always stop here when in West Philly.
Must try their Chief's specialty "BBQ Platter" if you never been to this place! This is like a sampler plate that has all the top dishes so you can try from this place, then you have an idea what to order when you visit next time. My top dishes were "Crispy pork spring rolls" & "Meatball rolls (grilled ground pork)"! Also highly recommend to try their grilled chicken, because they know how to grill their meat on point! Another fact that I love about this place over the other Vietnamese restaurants is their interior design with reasonable food price. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes!!
The BBQ platter was amazing!! It comes with an array of different meats and vegetables- perfect for sharing with others. The addition of rice paper wraps allows you to get creative with different combinations of fillings (and makes it easier to eat). The Vietnamese coffee was also delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Will definitely be coming back for more!
Great atmosphere, and excellent service! Nice variety on the menu. The drinks were really good, I enjoyed the lemongrass martini. The Viet ravioli and Mongolian beef were not what I was expecting, but they weren't bad. I'd go again and try other things on the menu.
I am a regular customer, I've never tried the pad thai so I ordered it today. I ordered the chicken pad thai. This pad thai is 80% tofu and 20% chicken. I called to tell them and they offered no remedy. They said it was measured out and supposed to be like this. This is really disappointing customer service from my favorite restaurant.
this is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in philadelphia and strongly suggest everyone to go here and get the salt and pepper chicken.
I rarely post reviews, but this Vietnamese restaurant never fails to provide awesome food. Consistently tasty. I've never had an issue over the years of revisiting. Five full stars for any type of review are very rare from me.. so, worth checking out.
Great restaurant. Dined here twice so far. Love the pork vermicelli and the vegetable rolls. Good prices and top notch service. Very clean including the restrooms.
I have had excellent takeout from Vietnam cafe, but only just had the chance to dine in.Not only was the dining room beautiful and quiet, the way they've surrounded the building with greenery, it feels truly peaceful.I ordered the meatball rolls and shrimp and pork wonton soup - both were extraordinary. I have been crazy about wontons and vermicelli rolls for most of my life, and those were some of the best I've ever tasted.Highly recommend for lunch, dinner, you name it!
Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic. My first time experiencing the cultural food
