Quite literally my favorite sushi place in all the Philadelphia. Sitting is limited so don’t expect to bring in a large crowd. It’s pretty hole in the wall. But the sushi is divine
Easily some of the best sushi I've had in years, this place is beyond charming and delicious. Bar only seats about ten people so make sure you get there early. Completely worth it.
Had sushi bar service for lunch. Lucky roll customized without eel sauce. Very accomdating chef. Fresh & fantastic. Worth the walk in the rain. Great stop for a visiting Texan.
By far the best sushi in Philly and probably the best sushi I’ve ever had. Sit at the counter and watch Jim and his team prepare your rolls. Whether you take out or dine-in, the food is prepared very quickly. The fish is always fresh and they have amazing delicacies like Otorro, salmon belly, and uni. The three roll special is a deal that you can’t beat. I’ve become a regular here, because I know the quality is always top tier and the staff is kind and accommodating. This restaurant is BYOB. I will truly miss this place when I move, but whenever I visit Philly I will be sure to come back.
My friend and I ate here for dinner before our Helium comedy show. It was super quick service and the 3 rolls for $13.95 was hard to beat for pricing. My friend ordered the sashimi combo and the fish pieces were nice and big and fresh. The rolls were of course on the smaller side but they had the right amount of rice to fish with the exception of the eel roll - it could’ve had more eel. Otherwise I’d definitely come back and perhaps try their specialty rolls.
Am amazing neighborhood gem with fast service and extremely high quality food. A real treat!
I needed sushi and it hit the spot. However, the fish wasn’t the best and the simple spicy tuna/philly rolls looked a bit rushed. I’d believe that they were busy except the place only had me and one other couple. It’s good, cheap, and what you should expect for what you get.
The 60 piece party platter is very good.
Freshly made sushi right in front of you! They do not offer you water so you have to order something to drink with your food.
We ordered by phone and the delivery charge was on the high side, so we took a 20 minute hike in nice weather. The specialty rolls 13.95 were very good, as was the 3 roll special (white tuna, yellow tail scallion, Alaska roll) for only 12.75 quite the bargain.
