They close at 7:00pm, and are closed on Tuesday now. The food was good but the portion sizes could be larger.
Warning, their ad touts baked fish, but as I sat waiting in the "restaurant", I heard the clerk asking if the order was ready. A "chef" answered that they were putting it in the microwave.Since I was not paying for Chef Mic, I cancelled the order. No return visits necessary.

I don’t know if the macaroni and cheese was old but it was dry it didn’t have any flavor at all. But the meat was good
The food is good but whoever answers those telephones 99% of the time are HORRIBLE.....if this is supposed to be a family run organization why doesn't someone train each individual proper telephone etiquette???..its not that complicated or diffiucultBlack businesses already have a stigma & stereotype to overcome as it is
Catering order of 25 wings was perfect. The same recipe Everytime, every wing, I love the food and my guest did too. Vernie for the win!

When I first went to Vernice’s the food was ok this time it seems that the Turkey Wings was half done the cornbread was burnt. I’m done look at your food before you leave.
I should’ve took a before picture but anyways. I haven’t had their food in over 10 years and to my surprise it tasted amazing. I got two small platters for less that $25. So I suggest if you want quantity get a large. I was super upset when I tore up my one piece of fish. I will definitely go back. Turkey wings, basa, string beans, yams, Mac and cheese was good.
