Food was delicious as always, service was great. Such a wonderful place.
Beautiful location. The service was very good The food was good but not outstanding. I definitely would go back for the view
Always such a lovely place to meet for lunch, even on a hot day.
Valley Green Inn is a nice setting in Wissahickon Park. We were seated on the patio which affords a nice view. We arrived almost an hour ahead of our reservation time but the staff courteously seated us within 15 minutes. Waitress was friendly and mostly attentive, although I had to retrieve knives and forks from a nearby table as there were none on our table. The food was fine. The atmosphere was enjoyable until a larger group with children were seated across from us. Of course, the crying started shortly thereafter and, the pervasive dog culture being what it is, they had a dog which impatiently waited at the foot of the steps, barking occasionally as he evidently wanted them to hurry and finish or perhaps he wanted to join them at the table. Otherwise, it was a nice lunch experience.
The food and ambience are excellent. Eric was attentive and kind. Everything was perfect
A very pleasant dinner. One tableâs participants were clearly drunk and therefore loud. When they left things settled down. The waiter was efficient and friendly. The food was good and the room was welcoming.
The food was delicious, the staff was top notch and beautiful setting! We will definitely be returning!
Great place to have dinner. Service is top notch. Building has a lot of history. Food is always great. Fireplace in the winter time. Have your meal on the front porch in the Summer. Walk by the creek after dinner to top off the night.
Very good. Service complicated due to sick call outs. Food excellent and we will go back. They did their best under the circumstances.
very nice location eating in Fairmont Park. Our service was excellent. All the wait staff were exceptionally nice. Our meals were delicious; salad with salmon and a crab cake sandwich. Prices were reasonable for the venue. The only down side is, that the Park requires more police presence. After lunch, I found my car in the parking lot with a smashed in driver's window and thousands of dollars in damage to my car. I wasn't the only victim in the lot. Sad state of current affairs.
