Incredible staff. Great owner. Really cares about the craft beer style. I can't wait to get back here again.
So glad to have found a great neighborhood brewery. The beers were really tasty and the pizza was great too! The bartender was super friendly and the service was quick. They had live music on Sunday afternoon which was really cool and chill. I’ll definitely be back!
Love the place. The pizza is awesome, beer is different, they have board games and generally its just a really chill spot. Only issue I have come across a few times is the reluctancy to put sports on their TVs even when I've requested. I totally understand it isn't a sports bar and I don't expect a Buffalo Wild Wings type of atmosphere but a Sixers game or generally any sports on TV is better than Bob Ross channel for the entirely of my visit. Even a non-sports fan would most likely prefer an exciting college basketball game or hometown sporting event rather than watching paint dry on TV for 2 hours. Heck it might even coax a few more beers out of a customer like me!
There’s a reason why their reviews are 5 star. Great atmosphere, great pizza, great beer and great service. The buffalo cauliflower pizza was top notch!
Did a brewery crawl through Manayunk last weekend and this was our last stop…pizzas is great, staff was also great and got a chance to meet the owner for a nice conversation about the establishment…..oh and the beer…had the Belgian Tripel aptly named Jovial Monk….if your in the area stop because it’s well worth it…
Good beer selection, and the pizza was good. The bartender was really nice and friendly, and easily accommodated our fairly large group. My beer drinking friends generally seemed to enjoy the beer, they said everything was good but nothing necessarily stood out to them as amazing. They are generally IPA drinkers and they got flights. They also enjoyed the pizza, although I would have really loved to have some of their past menu items (mac & cheese) instead. As a non-beer drinker, and if you don't drink beer as well, I'd recommend encouraging your friends to go somewhere else. They were out of the cider and one of the seltzers so they only had seltzer/vodka combos which I'm not a fan of. Either way though, I'm generally just along for the ride, but I really love breweries that help entertain the non-beer people as well (even just making sure to have ciders is awesome). We enjoyed hanging out here, and I'd definitely recommend beer lovers to stop by.
Twisted Gingers has grown quite a bit since arriving a few years ago. I'm really happy they have managed to stick around. Their addition of a pizza oven was in no doubt part.As a brewery, I'll start with their drinks. They have a decent selection of their brews on tap and pretty much anything they've ever made available in cans (for dine in or takeout). I'm honestly not in love with all their beers, but I've always been a picky beer drinker. My IPA loving beer friends rave and I do trust their judgement. They also typically have a cider available from one of a few other local breweries and have been known to have alcoholic seltzer mixed cocktails as well. When mixed with fresh fruit, these seltzers can be a real hit.As for me, my focus on visits is food. The only thing they offer is pizza and they do it well. They have a handful of standard offerings and a monthly rotating special. On the standard list, my go-to is Friends from Brussels. Be warned, they only have one oven so wait times can get long if you arrive at peak times!Service is friendly and all around good. Prices are slightly cheaper than main street and well in line with the quality they offer. Overall, a clear recommend in my book.

This place is now one of my favorites in Manayunk. Both the pizza and beer are very reasonably priced especially for the quality. We had gone right after helping a friend move into her apartment. The three of us split two pizzas and it was plenty. My Girlfriend was hoping that there would be a sour there, but besides that the selection has good coverage.
