I moved from the neighborhood about a year ago and of all the places, I miss Tria Wash West the most. I’m even a little envious of those who have easy access. Even crazier, I’ve been on the hunt in Florida for anything like it. So far, no luck. Why? Because it’s hard to find a place where the food, wine, and the staff are all truly working in tandem. By that, the staff at Tria, from the bartenders/servers to the food prep staff they are not only well trained in what they are selling, they have the personalities to match. IMO, they know their stuff and have fun too. Over the 4 years I lived there I watched some move on to different careers. That’s normal. Yet, when I would see them they still spoke well of Tria. That says a lot. Meanwhile, The new staff came in well trained and also seeking to be a good fit.Hey Tria, let me know when you are ready to move into a location in st. Pete, FL, a city with a vibe that is not that different from Philly.
Your mouth will have nice surprises in this restaurant, at least mine had. The dishes we tried (Turkey sandwich, asparagus salad and poached figs ) offered interesting combinations of tastes and textures. Also the staff were really friendly and caring.Totally recommend this place ?
Absolutely love this place. Staff is so knowledgeable and helpful with wine selection. Love sitting outside in the nice weather people watching, enjoying a glass (or two of wine), can’t forget the delicious food. Just wish they would go back to the old hours and open up earlier of Fridays. Understand why they can’t staffing issues but I miss stopping by on a Friday afternoon. Loved the Washington West location.
Enjoyed a laid-back early evening visit here for some very good wine and tasty food. It was a very enjoyable anniversary celebration. Staff were helpful, offering good service and information.
Love this place! Great vibe and servers were lovely and always remembered my drink. Also the burrata toast is amazing!
What isn't to love? The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the cheeses and other small bites are basically perfect, and the cocktails are as imaginative as the wine list is comprehensive. I literally can't think of a single thing wrong with this place and can't wait to return for an upcoming birthday celebration!
Tired, over-priced hipster place that lacks imagination. Everything was disappointing, especially the pinot noir that tasted like a sour beer. They basically feed you bread and charge $130 (20% gratuity fee is already priced in). There are so many great restaurants in Philly, so don’t waste your time on this one.
Great wine and Tapas bar!! Very friendly. Just visiting...had a great experience!
Another great meal at Tria West Washington. As always the service was excellent as was the food. The wine is to be commended. Please visit them often.
Tria a Philly staple for craft beer, unique wines, and clever small plates... plenty of outdoor seating and a friendly wait staff
