Beautiful and tasty wine and food as always

Creative tasting menu and excellent wine selection... a delight for foodies.

Great nibbles; great selection of wines. We dined outdoors—lovely evening.

Excellent small and not so small plates for sharing, a nicely curated drinks list, plus nimble and friendly service makes Tria a place worth visiting!

There are a lot of fruit flies and some got into our glasses of water and wine. I ended up having wasted most of one of my glass of wine

Just a lovely time. Excellent service with knowledgeable staff who work together extremely well to support the customer experience. The food was excellent and the drinks were extremely nice. Definitely making this one of my regular haunts with friends.

Jen was our server and she was super knowledgeable and was so kind! Would go back just to be served by her!

Great place to have a nice glass of wine and something to eat on a beautiful day

My wife and I traveled to Philadelphia this weekend for the Flower Show at FDR Park. Quite enjoyable. For dinner this evening (Saturday, 6/18/22) we decided we were in the mood for tapas, and eventually settled on Tria Café for our destination. Tria has two locations. One at 1137 Spruce Street, and the other (Tria Cafe Rittenhouse) on the corner at 123 South 18th Street. We headed to the latter. Arrived a bit early for our 7:30 PM reservation, but our table was ready. We sat by the front window overlooking South 18th Street, a great spot for people watching. (There's also seating outside along the street.) Service was friendly and efficient, starting with our water request (plain or sparkling). Having received that, we placed our drink orders: My wife tried the Boylan ginger ale (tasty) and I opted for the Abernet Franc "Hurluberlu," Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil, Sebastian Davide, 2021, from the Loire Valley of France. I'm by no means a wine connoiseur, and couldn't distinguish among the supposedly "exuberant" flavors of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry. Nonetheless, the wine was fine, and went well with my dinner choice. For the main course, my wife chose the Koch’s Smoked Turkey Sandwich with Cabot Cheddar, North Country Bacon, Tomato, Arugula and Truffle-Herb Aioli ($16). A full meal in itself (my wife took half home with her). I selected the Roasted Duck Salad with Spinach, Strawberries, Pistachios, Grana Padano and Citrus-Mint Vinaigrette ($16). Very enjoyable with an excellent variety of textures and flavors; all working well together. I highly recommend it. We had originally intended to try the flourless chocolate torte with honey mascarpone and strawberries ($8) for dessert. But our main courses proved to be more than sufficient. For what's it's worth, another diner seated nearby ordered it, and it looked delicious. Maybe next time we'll start our meal by ordering dessert first. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening! Definitely a 5 of 5 on all counts. - Tim

I love celebrating a special occasion (or any occasion, really) at Tria! The wine. The cheese. The WINE! I always fully enjoy myself at this establishment.
