Broad St Bully and Matteo were both delicious! Meats sliced to order. Owners were great. Great experience thank you!
The people are genuinely really nice and the sandwich was delicious. Great use of fresh ingredients. The only drawback is the price, I'm not sure I would pay 15$ for the sandwich again.
I ordered food for a nun in South Philly through DoorDash due to the excellent reviews of this restaurant on social media. Unfortunately, Door dash did not deliver the order to Sister and I called the restaurant to see if they could help. William was extremely rude, wouldn't let me talk, and yelled at me stating this isn't his problem-it's Door dash's problem. All I wanted was to get advice as to how I could get a sandwich delivered to a Franciscan nun. I will never order from this restaurant again due to the unkind and rude manner of William.
Tortorice’s makes one of the best Italian hoagies I have ever had - their Broad St. Bully sandwich is absolutely exceptional! Incredible flavor, so fresh, and very quick delivery service via DoorDash. If you’re in the mood for a quality hoagie, don’t waste your time searching or going anywhere else - Tortorice’s is your place.
“This Stromboli is worth being fat for.” - my wife
Ordered the bully. Ingredients inside the bread were good. The bread itself was way to dense, hard, whatever you want to call it. The guy that made my sandwich wasn’t wearing a mask, and he sneezed while he was wrapping it. Should have refused, but I had already paid. And the kicker: they use square for payment, and he added an automatic tip without telling me. Usually the business turns the iPad around so the customer can add a tip, if they wanted to. I noticed the added tip after the receipt was emailed to me. That was pretty shady.Edit: was contacted by the business via square, and they said they would refund the “accidental” tip. So adding back a star for that to 3 stars. The rest of my review still stands though
Highly disappointing experience, I googled this business prior to coming in the city for the best sandwich in Rittenhouse. To say dissatisfied would be an understatement. To start off this experience the bread was dreadfully hard, the was a sauce on my roll that wasn’t listed on the website. The chicken cutlets looked like they had been frozen and reheated and served on the sandwich. Overall my expectations were shot down after reading so many great reviews online!
The chicken cutlet tasted hard, dried out, and not good. The matteo sandwich was meh.
So so good! Quality ingredients, accurate order, absolutely no complaints. We got the Vienna, the Luca and the Luciano sandwiches and all three of us were super impressed. Definitely ordering again.
Delicious sandwiches, highly recommend! The Bully sandwich is very delicious and the workers here are very friendly!
