Wonderful place to come and eat at.
They have a wide selection of drinks and food. I got breakfast and lunch at 12:43pm in the afternoon with a smoothie.
This is my go to lunch spot. The food is always delicious and handmade. The breakfast panini’s come with a whopping serving of seriously fresh cut fruit. I’ve yet to find another spot in Philly with the same bang for your buck with regards to quality and quantity vs. cost. Additionally, the service is always very friendly, I believe it is family owned so always a pleasure supporting their business, and as a musician I appreciate the theme of the cafe.
I would give 20 stars if I could. This is my FAVORITE spot to get lunch while at work. The chipotle chicken panini is the best thing ever made…my go to sandwich and this tropical smoothie is delicious. I’ve ordered multiple times and have been satisfied every time.
Delicious wraps, salads, drinks, and smoothies. Seriously, so good and healthy! Based on my experience, I’m not sure why they have 4/5 stars. It seems like the recent reviews are all good though. Trending up!
I just have to say that literally every single thing that I've purchased for here is absolutely amazing!!! I haven't actually been into the cafe but I took a chance with them and ordered online and now I seriously cannot stop!! The teas with the fresh fruit and herbs in them is GOD TIER good!!! Today I tried one of the new Spring menu sandwiches "Bacon Berry" and OH.MY.GOD. it's one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. I'll eventually make it to the Cafe to experience it first hand but even with delivery my food always arrives fresh. I suspect it's because they throttle their delivery times so they don't overwhelm themselves and actually take the time to make excellent food!I love you Torch Wood Cafe!!!!
I never write reviews for places, but Torch-wood is hands down the best. I live in South Philly and order Torch-wood at least once a week on Caviar. The food is amazing, everything arrives hot, and they have so many options. I stick to my faves Spicy Dragon pannini and chicken salad on a crossaint, but we tried breakfast today and it was so so good. I can't wait to try more things on their menu.
Was starved by the time I got to my room nearby. Found this very small hole in the wall place, unassuming and not well marked eatery. It was very good and the desserts looked tasty. Had a panini and would go back to try something else had I more time in Philly.
This is the BEST sandwich place in Philly. It's a gem. They put ample ingredients on your sandwich, you are getting more then you pay for. The sandwich combos are creative, the taste is absolutely amazing and the ingredients are fresh. This small business - the family is amazing, friendly and efficient. My favorite sandwich is the Egg salad BLT hoagie - a taste party in very bite.
Wow! Turkey with apple and jam! Panini. Fantastic coffee and pastries. Not just a coffee shop. Get down here and try it.
