Loved the wonton soup so much, I got it 2 nights in a row. Pork dim sum bread was a bit dense but still tasty. Pork soup dumplings were very good. Can dine in or take out. BYOB.
I got multiple things off the menu and they were all delicious! Hope to come back and try some of the other items, as it all looked really good and made it hard to decide
Very pleased with this restaurant. They are very busy, but the food came out relatively quick. The dumplings are delicious and fresh, and so is the food. The price is typical for dumplings and Asian food. I forgot to take a picture of our food before, but I did take a picture of our clean plates ? I love this place and will definitely go back.
Food tasted like mall food court quality… dumplings were thick-skinned and fishy. Seemingly a tourist trap
This restaurant is conveniently across the street from the Hilton Garden Inn where we were staying. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The shrimp soup dumplings and chicken dumplings were wonderful! Will go back the next time i visit Philly.
It's really pretty and clean inside. They were busy when went but was seated right away. This place is a byob too. The food came really fast and was tasty. I appreciate the good food and service. Usually have to battle to get water at places lately. This place though they make sure your water stays full and are hydrated. Will go back.
Food not bad, but dirty! I had a piece steel wool in my noodle, 30 min later I got diarrhea.
So so so good. The best ones that we ordered were the crab&pork steam soup dumpling (the soup is to die for), shanghai shumai (add the chilli oil available on the table, super good), genera tso chicken. The mapo tofu over rice was a bit salty and unlike the other reviewers, I found that the scallion pancake is rather plain, I’ve had better of these in Korean restaurant, not sure if this is the Shanghai style
I’ve been here many times for dim sum only. I decided to order a tofu entree today and was so disappointed. The tofu was not only heavily breaded but the breading covered a thick rice gluten coating so that the thin slice of tofu inside was barely tastable. The dish was not fully tossed in sauce but just ladled over. The two pieces of broccoli were cold—maybe not intended to be eaten? In fact the whole dish may not have been intended to be eaten making $15 paid for naught. I’ll stick to the dim sum only in the future. Two stars for good service.
Hidden gem! Very calm and quiet on weekdays. Everything is tasty, and certainly have to be back to try other dishes. When you ask for spicy, they can make it's really spicy ?. Staff is friendly, especially the waitress (I forgot to ask her name) who recommended the sesame balls, when I asked for something sweet, after having a hard time eating the spicy soup (that I requested to be spicy), she was absolutely the sweetest!Price I think is similar to most places in the area.
