We love the food and service at Tio Flores. This is a Friday night go to for my family.
Love the casual family-friendly atmosphere at Tio Flores! The twinkle lights and the prime location on South Street make it great for an easy Friday dinner.
Very nice ambiance. Outside dining was enjoyable. Service was fine. Would give them a try minus alcohol.
Food was amazing but the amount of food was too little for the price.
Live in the neighborhood and wanted to give Tio Flores another try after a few barely average experiences. The brisket in the tacos had a good smoky flavor, but it was very tough and overcooked. The nachos looked great, yet were so incredibly salty they were difficult to eat.Sadly, Tio Flores used to have much better food than it does now. Since it has a great vibe and location, hopefully they get the message from all the recent negative reviews. This should be at the bottom of your list for mexican food in Philly.
Great restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food and margaritas!
Nice little place but I’m not sure if this is the new standard but I was automatically charged a 20% tip on my check AND a suggestion to add more tip on the check for a party of 2? I was a server for a very long time and I would never add tips to checks. Where is the incentive to provide a good service if you already know you’re getting at least 20%?? Or at least let your customers know ahead of time?
Our first time here. Good experience but not outstanding. The service was very good! Food came out quick which was nice. The margaritas were just average…
Nice early dinner outside, were kind and helpful with our kids. Thank you!
We came here for Cinco de mayo, and it was a block party. It was lit, so hard to tell what a normal experience would be like. All that considered - we still had pretty nice service. Tacos were good, drinks were okay. They seated us early which was nice.
