This place is take out only! As soon as I walked in I had ordered the Char Siu w/ bok choy over rice. Before the pandemic, the portion sizes were better and also it was cooked better. The wait time was about 5-10 minutes for my meal. It was pretty warm as it came out and stays warm for about half an hour. The meal was not as good as other places who make it. Although they do everything right in front of you, the char siu was a bit rougher than regular char siu from other places. Furthermore, the sauce was not enough .They include too much rice which is the majority weight of the bowl. The bok choy did not have enough flavor and was over cooked. This was an average bowl and the price is not worth what you're getting. I am not saying it is bad or good. They just need to do a better job at cooking this. A solid 6/10.
NOTE TO SELF: so far my favorite chinese restaurant in philly.Really delicious and authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price. I'd post photos of the noodles and roast duck but they are all in my belly now :(
Went here on a Wednesday with my friend for lunch hoping it would be good. We ordered food that came out pretty fast but there were a few caviets. The pork congee barely had any pork in it, mostly just rice, and it lacked a lot of flavor. We asked for water and we didn't get it until half way / 75% way through our meal. The waitress was too busy talking to her coworkers up front to see us waving and trying to get her attention multiple times. Then at the end we asked for boxes for 3 separate dishes plus the congee which is a soup like. And she said "use one box don't waste" I was like " no were going to need 2 more boxes." Then she says rudely "ok I know!" then comes back with one. Then we had to ask her a 3rd time. Then she finally brings the last box.For the tip I put just under 15% which I didn't use a calculator for. I just rounded. And as soon as I put the pen down. A second waitress came over immediately towards the bill and says to me " you need to put 15% minimum its the law." And slams in front of my face. I was instantly turned off. She stood there arguing with me to put more. and I finally said " you know what. You don't need to get any." And I gave them $0 tip and left.I won't be coming back. It still makes me mad thinking about the atrocious service. If the waitress gave decent service and would actually pay attention to the customers instead of chatting it up, I wouldn't have felt the need to do that. Do I feel good about it? Of course not, but this restaurant needs to replace their staff by the looks of it.
Good food but needs to do better on bag. The bag they have for carryout leaks. Ordered a jellyfish dish and it leaked on my way to school. Thankfully not a big leak.
Beef congee and dry shrimp Cheung fun…Good but needs more soy sauce and ?
They got my order wrong and I didn’t know until I got home but the food was great regardless. Would recommend pork and duck over rice. Great prices.

If you are in the mood for Cantonese (Chinese American) cuisine, Ting Wong is the place to eat!Their shrimp shumai wonton soup is delicious. Their sweet and sour chicken is out of this world! They are only offering take out, for the time being. The staff is friendly and they serve you quickly.Their prices are cheap for the quantity and quality of food you receive.Their entrance is accessible by all.Thank you for the delicious meals ?
Food is alway so good clean and cozy too nice location!
Roasted pork and duck combination over noodles was very good! Thoroughly enjoyed the food that I was able to easily stretch over two meals.
