great food; absolutely sucked down their cashew korma. loved the gulab jamun. please make your balls bigger. ?
The lamb roganjosh was delicious. I would order it again and again. Also, loved the naan and the samosas!
Good Fast and Friendly. May Allah Bless them
A staple in our home! We order often since it’s right in the neighborhood. The food is always hot and fresh. Our favorites are the paneer tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and do yourself a favor and try the aloo papri chaat in the appetizers! OH MY it’s delicious and my favorite dish! ;-P
The malai kofta was very dense and tasted like it had been fried too long then left to sit out (it was also oddly very spicy - I like spice, but this was far too much, but I'll leave that up to personal preference, even though I don't think if this as a dish usually served spicy). The tikka masala was very sweet and tomato-y. We really did not enjoy either dish, which are usually our most generic go-tos.Also, half the staff wore no masks, and there was no enforcement of people coming in being masked.
The worst biryani i ever hadAre they making people fool by mixing a normal curry with stale rice and selling it in the name of biryani?Totally waste of moneyWasted my 19$ on this stupid biryani
Tasty food and the chicken tikka massala just hits different in this place
The guy who handled my take-out transaction was very friendly and immediately ran to grab my food after I paid. The food is great! Perfectly cooked basmati, hot and tender onion naan. I requested my tikka masala spicy and it was actually spicy which was a new experience for me. Definitely trying Tiffin again before leaving Philly next week.
Simple straight forward menu with clear designations for vegan, gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and nuts. Excellent food. Good service. Plain and clean. Did I mention the excellent food?
This was our neighborhood Tiffin location so I have a lot of love for it for being a great standby for those nights when I didn't want to cook. We always get standard dishes here: saag paneer, chana masala, and bhangin bharta or sometimes butter chicken. Since we have eaten from here so many times we have noticed that there can be consistency issues between when they have the "A" team cooking (and it's amazing) and when they don't (still good, but not as good as we know it can be lol), but probably you won't notice if you don't eat here so often. In general, the food is very delicious and definitely hits the spot. Support your local Tiffin!
