No matter when we go to The Olde Bar, we are treated like royalty. Leah the manager as well as her staff are totally professional, incredibly friendly and efficient. Our server Janelle had a smile on her face the whole time we were there. Now for the food: it was National Oyster Day so we started with a dozen Maryland oysters, sweet but not too large. Then had a half dozen Virginia oysters which were small (the way I like them) and briny. Happy hour appetizers were Buffalo cauliflower and salmon spread. Off the regular menu we got the chili-garlic mussels with fries and the apple and arugula salad. All was delicious! I’m a huge albarino fan and Leah mentioned that they had a new, locally sourced one from PA. I was very skeptical since most PA wines just aren’t very good. However this one from Maple Springs Vineyard was much better than expected. My hubby had his usual rye Manhattan with a twist, which he considers one of the best in the city. After gorging on all the previous food we were surprised with a shrimp and oyster po boy sandwich and more fries! Leah insisted we had to try it for National oyster day. As you can see I can’t say enough good things about this place: service, food and drink.

Happy Hour is lively with some quality and tasty offerings!

The food and service at the bar were fantastic. Unpretentious food and at a great value.

Food and Drinks Were Excellent as Usual. Waitress was Very Attentive.

We had a fantastic Saturday brunch...the new menu is great and the service was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The Maitake mushroom & gravy biscuit was out of this world and as always the cocktails were dangerously good!

The food was good but not great, especially for the prices. However I had an excellent waiter (thanks Pete!) who gave good recommendations for both dinner and dessert, and generally made the experience much better.

Oysters were amazing!!! Super fresh, customer service was awesome, everyone made sure we had everything we needed at all times, I can’t wait to go back next week!

The food was delicious. The service and to bringing out the food were long, but worth it.

Had the best birthday brunch here! All of the cocktails were incredible and the snack bar Bloody Mary was so worth it. The seafood was so fresh we even stayed for the happy hour oysters. The staff was so sweet, we will definitely be back!

Honestly the worst experience. They close at 9 and at 930 we were still waiting for our food. We sat down at 730 and the server was no where to be found. We only saw her when she was taking apart the other tables . How is that acceptable ? At 10 when we wanted coffee, they said the machine was taken apart ? They took apart most of their kitchen before we even ordered is what we were told. Manager gave us a gift card to return and I’m also shook if I want to .
