The food was absolutely delicious. Customer service was prompt and professional. If you a taste for some vegan Caribbean influence this is the place. You must try the vegan duck medallions.
5 out of 10. The Salt fish mostly tastes like texture very bland. The sides are ok. But for the prices I wish we had more portions. The jerk chicken is seasoned well but the center wasn’t cooked well enough for my liking.
I wish my sons and I would have taken pictures but ALL THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD we ate it quick with pleasure! Best Vegan we have had in years! We recommend THIS eatery 199%!☺?☺?☺?
I love not only the food the service and the family oriented staff but the ambiance within the entire establishment. I've been going here for years and I am always welcomed with a heartfelt greeting no matter how busy they are.Thanks for maintaining such a wonderful place.
This wasn’t the experience I expected. Lots of soy options. The food smelled. It’s a no for me.
Been a vegan for years and this was one of the worst vegans foods I have tried. It’s was very bland and expensive for such small portions. I also felt very sick the next day. Also there was a man sitting down just staring as I was eating, it was very weird and uncomfortable. He was not a costumer. I would like a refund
I really that this place exists. It's awesome to be able to get healthy food when you want to order take out. The food tastes good. I think anyone can enjoy this food-vegan or not.
Really great food. $21 for a meal, drink and slice of DELICIOUS cake- one of the best cakes I have ever had. Thanks so much for providing goof, affordable vegan food. Yall rock.
I got the regular sized BBQ chicken platter with sweet potato and an okra/corn/tomato vegetable mix. Platter tasted very good but my only thing is that the texture of the bbq chicken didn't disguise quite like chicken. Still good though! But my fav.... let's get into it...it was the patty ....It was so good that I don't know if it was their take on a chicken or beef patty! I practically swallowed the thing whole. If you didn't tell me I wouldn't have detected it was vegan. Taste, texture, everything about the patty was on point! Will definitely get the patty again...like 5 of dem... and I try a new platter!
One door closes and another one opens!!! We planned on going to the vegan restaurant down the street but they were closed for the evening. Thank goodness for The Nile Cafe. Just 2 blocks and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is very good and satisfying. Definitely try the Pattie! Delicious!!My meal consisted of cabbage, sweet plantain and ‘bbq chicken’. Kind and friendly service.
