The loft lounge had a whole vibe! It was my daughter's idea to come here for an early Mother's Day gift. The drinks were great, the food was on point, and the waiters were very friendly! It was a party of four at my table that included my cousin, my daughter, and her friend along with myself. The D.J. had us all singing and dancing in our seats! The owner was very friendly and down-to-earth. I expressed my gratitude for the wonderful experience and to let her know I was a first-time patron of her business and she served us free shots. You don't see that every day! Needless to say, next time I'm back in town I will visit the Loft Lounge. I can't say enough good things about this place. The consensus was we were all completely satisfied with all the services. Which included smoking flavorful hookah, we survived the loft towers filled with Mimosas, and every dish we ordered was seasoned to perfection! To top it all off it's a black owner establishment.
This place was a mess! Went for the first time Saturday! They took forever to take our food and drink order. I never received one meal I ordered and we never even received water or our drinks. After waiting a hour for our drinks and water! (A hour for water is insane!) we canceled the drinks after we saw the bartender tell her friend she didn’t make our drinks. Also found a piece of gum in my food half way threw eating it smh. This place is a disgrace! Would never go back again! Then they had the nerve to get the order wrong on the receipt and overcharged us! No one apologized . Also they were trying to charge $2 if you did not have a mask meanwhile none of the employees had on a mask nor did half the restaurant!
Only been here once for brunch and my experience was a 6 out of 10 for me. The food was good, waiter was the best part to me, he was warm, welcoming and helpful. The wait for the food to come out was alil long however it was brunch and 12 pm so they offered hookah .. the hookah and mimosas is what helped the wait . We wanted the mimosa tower however they didn’t have any bottles of champagne to make that happen so we had to order 1 fluke each and keep calling the bartender/waiter anytime we wanted another. The kitchen door was open and the back door to the kitchen was also open which end of letting flies in. Me and hubby were seated in the back area near the kitchen so it seems that’s where they stayed so the people in the front weren’t as bothered as I was. I see it turns into sort of like a night club at night which is pretty nice but there was thick orange extension cords that were unraveled next to our table which isn’t safe. Overall it was cool I’m just not crazy about going there for brunch or eating.
It’s actually incredible to me that this place has been around as long as it has. The owner is very kind and was attentive, but unfortunately those are the only good things I have to say about this place.1.) why on EARTH would you have two separate systems for drink and food. This is insanity. If I didn’t realize the food wasn’t on the bill I could have walked out without realizing. When I asked the bartender how to take care of the food bill she said to ask the waitress. I asked where the waitress was and the bartender shrugged and went back to playing on her phone.2.) food is severely overpriced. The three of us made up exactly half of the patronage this particular day and it took AN HOUR for a simple plate of eggs, meat and potatoes. Then some random dude came out and threw toast at my friend. We learned he worked there.3.) 18% service charge on the bill was a surprise. I’m sorry, but when the only thing the waitress does is take the order then play on her phone, then disappear until I have to hunt her down to pay my remaining bill, i find that absurd.4.) this is one of the last places in the area to enforce a mask mandate. Which is completely their right. But it’s ABSURD to charge customers $2/MASK!!!!! When we walk in and no employees are wearing them at all.5.) if you’re going to charge $9 for a vodka club can I have a lime? All in all I paid $75+ for 3 drinks and two plates of food. Stay away from this place until they figure out how to run a business. If you’re looking for a black owned business to support, a new bar opened just down the street that has better food, staff, and ambience.
Everything was amazing ! That was my first time there and I enjoyed it ! They make you feel like family , the owner was really nice , casamigos lemon drop was all that ! Bartender was amazing food was amazing ! If you was ever thinking about going GO !!
A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! The only thing they did right was the hookah. If you’re hungry, don’t go. If you’re thirsty, don’t go. Service is as slow as molasses. The waiters do not communicate with each other or their customers effectively. The manager was not even there to speak to. Bottom line not everyone should own a business, and certainly not everyone should be a waiter.
We COULD of had a great vibe/time at this place. But when I say terrible service, and unorganized it’s a shame because the food was great, not to mention the 9 other people I came with didn’t get their food…. No reason why we waited 1HR for drinks. Not even water. Won’t be coming back here any time soon. Hopefully they can do better in the near future. Wasted about 3hrs here and the table didn’t get food or drinks. The staff is clueless, send help.
The drinks were good . The food was flavorful. The music was pretty cool, not music you can truly dance too. Our waiter was friendly & attentive. Would return in the near future.
I went to The Loft Lounge last night for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The staff were extremely pleasant & kind. They constantly checked on us. The food & drinks were amazing. Definitely will be going back!
I went to to the loft lounge for Brunch on 11/29 for my birthday and my experience was top tier. Destiny waited on us and her service was impeccable. The gentleman who bought us our drinks was very professional and gave us his suggestions on what we may like! He suggested the patron punch and it was great! This establishment is very well put together from the staffs uniforms to the ambience of the music. 5 stars, would definitely recommend!
