Was walking back from visiting the penitentiary tour and was hungry and this place looked like a nice venue. We sat outside under the awning. There was ample outside seating at tables with umbrellas. Several tables were in the street area. Which was nice given the neighborhood. We were seated immediately and it took a few minutes for someone to come over and take our order. The staff was very friendly and polite. It was brunch time and she gave us a brunch menu. We got the eggs Benedict and the chicken and waffles. And water which they gave us a carafe of.It took a little while to get the food but it was hot and fresh and tasted fantastic. The bread for the eggs Benedict was a little tough but still tasty good.

The employees that they can retain are phenomenal but the owner makes it clear why new faces are present with every visit. When he storms around yelling at employees that are clearly working hard it makes me hate that I give this place any money. No one deserves to be treated with the disrespect shown by the owner and I’m absolutely amazed he can keep a few exceptional employees. Kate and Sean (as well as the fries) are the only reason we continue to come back. Please treat your employees better so the neighborhood bar continues to have friendly faces.

This place was so cute! Good food, good people, the outside sitting area is on a really cute street. We did feel a little ignored by our server, but he was young and seemed busy and it was so lovely out we didn't mind the wait. However I know if I went with my dad he would've been upset with the service (regardless of the server's niceness)

Had a great brunch at the bar. Fried chicken and waffles were tasty. Love a place with Guinness on draft. Great brunch bartender

Ordered a medium burger, burger was well well done, and the lettuce was under the patty, making it wilted and greasy

Mike is the man! Wonderful drinks wonderful food!

Great atmosphere and amazing food! Our server Mike went above and beyond, the service couldn’t have been better.

Great outdoor seating with heating lamps. Brunch was lovely!

Excellent drinks, excellent service, good food. Outdoor seating is spaced out well. Two of us had the vegan chicken sandwich which consisted of half a dozen small overcooked vegan nuggets in a brioche roll. The roll was great but the nuggets weren't.

Very disappointing. It’s a shame they killed off Belgian Cafe for this run of the mill restaurant. I hoped the new place was going to be something special, but this is a cookie cutter eatery that will disappear in a few years. They didn’t even have the sense to keep the pomme frites.
