Mike and his team are amazing! The food was delicious and beautifully served. Mike worked closely with me to design food and wine options for my nephew and his bride’s rehearsal dinner which was not so easy as our group included vegans, carnivores and one gluten free guest. The room at the top was cozy, welcoming and private. The evening was a huge success and everyone had a great time. Thank you Mike!

When we first sat down, the employee who sat us down (Ben) brought us two tiny mugs full of tomato bisque. These mugs are complimentary to all guests. The soup was incredible! It was so good we ordered another bowl for my partner and I to share. We also ordered a Cesar salad, an order of buffalo wings, and a personal sized margarita pizza. The salad was large and extremely tasty. The buffalo wings were also excellent and had a sweet, tangy, and unique flavor. Both the salad and wings were “different” in their flavors, but in a good way. The pizza however was not good, which is ironically what we came there for. We have tried tons of different style of pizza (Chicago, New York, Neapolitan, etc.) and this was nothing like any of those. I was expecting a Neapolitan/wood fire taste since that’s what it looked like in photos, but the taste was not at all like that. The bottom of the pizza reminded me of a bagel and sauce/ tomato flavor was very off. It was watery and too sweet, which is surprising given that the tomato soup they serve is perfection. Looking back, I think it is possible all the pizzas are gluten free and that is part of why it tasted so strange to me. If I return in the future I will probably order a grilled cheese to go with the tomato soup instead.Despite not liking the pizza much, I still can’t help but give the place five stars based on the service. Our server Marcus was lovely. He was very kind, friendly, and patient. It was also a nice and quiet atmosphere despite all the tables being full. The restaurant also had great outdoor seating. Staff did not wear masks, but they did have a very clear hand sanitizer station when you entered and the restaurant felt very clean. I would love to come back the next time we visit Philly.

We stopped in spur of the moment and were quickly seated. Ice water was brought to our table, and within minutes our server returned to take our order. The service was excellent; our waters were refilled quickly, the food was brought out hot, and each person we interacted with was very personable, perceptive, and quick.I ordered the Southwest Beyond burger, and it was delicious! I have no criticisms; it was juicy and hot, there were just the right amount of condiments, and the bread was fantastic. The french fries were done perfectly, and we couldn’t get enough.Rudi got the personal signature Margherita and loved it as much as I loved my burger. So we were both very full and very happy with our decisions. We were also pleased with the price, especially for the quality. We will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere that wasn't too loud. The food was good and came out fairly quickly. The also has good music playing in the playlist on this occasion. I would return again if I was ever in the area.

Omg this place is such a gem! The Food is AMAZING!!! My first time going and it did not disappoint!!! The gluten free options were many. I had the GF garlic cheesy bread and cheese pizza. By far the best ever!! The creamy tomato soup was also delicious!!

Really a truly wonderful spot. The fish tacos used a mock fish fillet that I’ve never tried before and it was a wonderful texture without tasting weird to me (I don’t like the taste of meat or fish anymore). The sauce in the taco was absolutely delicious.I love how they use vegan spreads even in sandwiches that aren’t vegan.Con: they use the word “plant based” instead of vegan, which encourages stigma of the word vegan. Their vegan items are labeled “PB” in the menu, and I had to ask in order to figure out what that meant as there was no labeling.

My boyfriend and I are new to the Manayunk neighborhood and have been wanting to try this place ever since learning that it’s a neighborhood staple and reading about it in the Manayunk Magazine. We ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla, wings, and the brisket sandwich. The gorgonzola dipping sauce came with the wings and was delicious with the other dishes as well. Our server could have been more attentive with providing silverware, napkins, waters. Overall was a good walk-up experience! Looking forward to next trying what the Couch Tomato is truly known for — the pizza.

Terrible food I just ordered to delivery and the pasta was overcook and dry no enough sauce, chicken was some pieces overcook some pieces still not well cook, the taste was not good at all

My kids grew up going to Couch Tomato for dinner Thursday nights on the way home from school. They loved it. I loved it. It felt like a second home. Warm and cozy in the winter, outdoor seating in the summer, nice people, great food. The pizzas were always excellent and compensated (from the kids' point of view) for the fact that they always had to split a salad. Now that they're grown and gone, they still enjoy a visit to Couch Tomato when they're back in town. And they appreciate the salads as much as the pizzas.

Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back to try more items on the menu. Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere! We were there with our 11 year old daughter and felt totally natural even though there were no other people with kids. Mostly couples or small groups. Service was spot on. We had the Wagyu burger, custom chicken burger and Chipotle salad which has avocado and chicken in it. Each dish was very delicious!
