Cannot recommend the board and brew highly enough. The excellence of their board game collection can only be matched by the quality of their food (the first and so far only board game cafe I’ve ever visited where the food is not just okay, but actually quite good—and reasonably portioned for the price) and the friendliness and sense of humor of their lovely staff. Plus, they’re very reasonably priced as a place to play games compared to others in the area—especially given how extensive, thoughtfully curated, and well-organized their collection is :)

This vibe in here is really wonderful. Super bright and fun. Staff and service were great.Only gripe and reason for four stars is that the lemon pancakes were super lemony. They weren’t inedible, but I would say the majority of people probably would not enjoy them. With that being said the eggs and bacon (amazingly crispy) we’re fantastic. As was our honey lavender latte.Would definitely come again.

I am late sharing this review but I wanted to share how amazing this experience was! I work with a summer program and I took a group of about 15 to have dinner and play games. The manager and our waitress were beyond nice and set us up on the patio. We had the best evening and everyone was incredibly kind. We will work to reserve in the future so we are not a surprise, however, Board and Brew worked with us so that this wasn't a problem at all. We will absolutely be going back and we are so thankful this business is here!

The perfect spot for casual or serious gamers! Coffee, cocktails, breakfast and dinner, all fresh and delicious. A very large board game library to use, rotating events, helpful staff, outdoor space - it really has it all!

This is a great period of time to Invest and earn reasonable profits with great signals on bitcoin and binary trade, with the help of a woman called Mrs Kelly Robert, she is the best account manager I have ever known or heard of. She has been helping me. I started with just $500 and now am getting great profits like $7,500 upward. You get to withdraw yourself after 6-7 days of trading ,No extra commissions. If interested, you can contact her via: Email: [email protected] WhatsApp:+19254145596 She is very trustworthy and reliable.

I’ve been here twice now and stayed for HOURS playing games. The drinks are incredible, I highly recommend the Oreo oat milk latte iced, and the fries are mind blowingly crunchy. Staff has been amazing and attentive and I consider this business a real treasure chest in the heart of Philly. Will definitely be a regular here.

Fun to hang and play a board game while eating food

Went for breakfast as an alternative to our hotel’s restaurant. The food was good and was cooked fresh in a small kitchen. The restaurant was very busy when we were there, and although what we ordered was rather simple, it took a while to get. The staff was friendly.

Had a great time visiting. The price for using games is very reasonable and they had a huge selection including some rare gems. There was food available for almost any diet, and overall it was pretty good.. or at least better than what you would expect at a gaming cafe. Here's what I really didn't like: it's too loud. It's not loud because it's all that loud to begin with, it's loud because in a gaming Cafe you're going to have lots of people talking, some quite excitedly, and the problem is that all of the surfaces in the cafe are reflective. So the rest of this is direct feedback and an appeal to the owners: put some sound absorbent materials on the walls and ceilings. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, cloth hangings can really brighten up the space and they will absorb a lot of sound. The same goes for the ceiling. If you want to keep a sense of adventure, a cloth tented ceiling or parachute fits the theme of a game store. Finally, industrial carpeting would also be helpful. It also means that pieces wouldn't roll/bounce as far if they fall off the table. Glasses/plates won't break either. I realize that this might make clean up more difficult at the end of the night, but the gaming experience would be much more pleasant.

The concept of the Board and Brew is quite unique, you get to play board games and have some food and drinks. I haven't really played the games here, but the breakfast and coffee is amazing! Make sure to follow them on IG to know when they have free coffee!
