This small family run restaurant is out of the way but worth it. Everything on the menu is flavorful, fresh tasting, wonderfully presented. The fare is consistent over many visits. Owners are charming and go out of their way to please.
A neighborhood favorite. Delicious food at a reasonable price - and also BYOB! Our favorite entrees are Pad Thai with tofu and the red curry with chicken, both of which can be prepared gluten free.
Staying in Philly for a while. Went with my wife to Thai Square for dinner. Quaint location, clean, friendly service. They do not have an alcohol license, but that’s okay since they allow BYOB…which we did. We started with the Golden Bags, which we both agreed were very tasty. I then had the Pad Cashew Nut w/ Chicken - Hot (very good!) and my wife had the Chicken Peanut Sauce and said it was also very good. Nice find!
Oh my! This is by far, one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in years!! The service was excellent, the food was delicious! We ordered the panang curry, chicken satay, wonton soup, peanut chicken. I loved all of it! We even ordered food to take home. The dishes were authentic , the presentation was beautiful! We will definitely be going back! The prices were fair as well. You need to try this food, won't be disappointed!
Weather is getting better and they opened up their outdoor seating!Ordered summer rolls and they were kind enough to take the basil out of one set and keep it normal on the other.Noodles and curry always good. Service is quick and very friendly. Fortunate to have a good place in the neighborhood.
Fantastic food! I had the Yom Tum soup with tofu and Penang Curry. Such fresh ingredients. Gorgeous interior and great service.
Hands down best Thai food in the city. Good fresh food with lots of flavor. Delish desserts and yummy Thai iced tea. Delivery is always fast too. We order probably once a week because it’s so good, easy and quick. Order delivery directly from the restaurant and they even will do contactless drop of. Makes good leftovers too.
So delicious and fresh! Loved eating here, incredibly friendly staff
I have been coming to this restaurant since they opened. It’s always my go to Thai place when I’ve craving for Thai food. My favorite is their duck with green curry. And I also always get their seafood Tom yum soup. It comes with a generous amount of seafood which includes squid, scallops and shrimp. I just tried their Thai green tea for the first time and fell in with it. I think I found my new favorite drink. It’s very light and refreshing. You can definitely taste the difference between the Thai green tea vs the regular Thai tea. This has a little floral flavor to it. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you want to try something different. The customer service is always outstanding.
This place was small but cozy. Nicely decorated and clean. The staff was very accommodating and patient. She took her time to explain the dishes and also advised us the different levels of spicy. We were a group of four and it was our first time there so naturally we wanted to try everything! So we got the pad woon sen, pad thai, drunken noodles, green curry and pineapple fried rice. Some dishes were better than the others. Our favorites were the shrimp pad woon sen and the pad thai. You can choose your protein with the pad woon sen but I believe shrimps best compliment the dish. Pad thai is a stable in many local Thai restaurants but the taste varies vastly. This restaurant managed to capture a perfect balance of sweet and savory in their signature pad thai dish. The dunken noodles and pineapple fried rice were tasty as well but they lacked wok heat. Lastly, the green curry was a bit sweet and lacked the potentness that traditional green curry carries.Tip: We ordered a couple of dishes with the level "hot" and we were sweating! The group consists of Malaysians and Koreans so we are all used to eating spicy food as we all grew up with it but the "hot" level will definitely hit the spot. With that said, "Thai hot" level may be way too much if you want to enjoy your meal. Also, this place is BYOB so bring your favorite alcoholic beverages and enjoy! Keep in mind that during the colder weather, they have limited indoor seating so I would recommend calling them ahead of time if you plan on dining in. Happy eating!
