About 10 years ago showed up right as they were closing. (Was in Philly for work). They let us in, gave us a tour, back in the kitchen, and we tried different pastries. This place is the best, people loved their jobs.. Met good people in Philadelphia,
In the past I always considered Termini Bros the gold standard for cannollis. There really wasn't any quality comparison, I thought. However, this weekend while visiting fam in Philly I learned of a long time rival...Isgro. To determine the best we stopped at both bakeries and purchased identical cannollis. At Termini Bros we were welcomed by polished silver doors and aged marble floors. Their store is a very spacious, historic business with as many memorabilia as bakery items. More like a museum than an vibrant bakery. The bake-goods actually weren't that impressive, esp when compared to the little Isgro's shoppe packed full of delicacies & busy helpers. Later at home we conducted our blind taste test. (BTW, Termini Bros wasn't our favorite.)
You can really feel the history in this bakery.From the other customers coming in, I could really tell that people in the neighborhood love this bakery. The chocolate Banana was recommended to me by another customer, and it was REALLY good. I also noticed all the people who seemed like long time regulars were getting Rum baba. I really enjoyed it, too.
Just bought a bunch of items for all the Mothers that are in our family of friends of our family in Florida. I was born in the neighborhood in the 40s and Termini is a must bakery for us, our friends, families, employees on all holidays. Regularly spend between 5-8 Thousand Dollars per year it is that good. I really wanted to like this place especially since I saw a ton of great reviews. I ordered the bliss (red velvet), slice of NY cheesecake, and one of each flavor of the cannolis. The bliss cake was very dry and their NY cheesecake lacked cheese flavor. It wasn't anything special. I'm not sure what is so good about their cannolis when they all tasted bland.Great customer service though!
Simply meh. I tried the tiramisu and carrot cake individual servings. While they looked fantastic, the taste was average. Both were quite dry which was quite disappointing. I am hopeful there are better Italian bakeries somewhere in this city.

My niece who lives in Denver Colorado, sent My wife a box of cannolis today from Terminis. They were delivered today via UPS.Knowing the product, I was concerned on the condition they would be in when they arrive. Nothing wrong with UPS, but knowing the product and how delicate they are, along with the need to be refrigerated there’s reason for concern.They shipped yesterday and arrived around noon today.I was amazed when I opened the package!The box was lined with styrofoam , including the top. The filling was in one side and the cannoli shells themselves on the other, each one individually wrapped in bubble wrap. I was just so impressed with the love and care, that went into making sure their product arrived in perfect condition.Of course we had to have one, and they were absolutely perfect just the way it should be!!A whole lotta love is in this box!Thank you Terminis, for the love you folks put into your food!!????☮️?Anthony Persico
