Second time going...and just like the first the vibe was good and the TEQUILA WAS GREAT!!
The entire experience was amazing from beginning to end, the vibe in there made it even better, excellent food, excellent service, excellent vibes.
Had a previous dining experience and found the food and service and atmosphere to be terrific. Not tonight. Service was mediocre. Food even less so. Simple enchiladas were poorly prepared and tasteless. Atmosphere? Was seated in the large back room that has been cramped with tables. Decibel level was well north of 80. Had to yell across the table. All for $300 for two couples. Never again.
Visiting from Texas, we were desperately looking for authentic Mexican Restaurants & came across this one on Google. We walked in during their Saturday night dinner rush & were told the restaurant was completely booked & could not be accommodated. We must have looked super sad because a gentleman came over and asked us to wait a few minutes to see if they could find us a table. We didn't wait more than about 10 before they were able to seat us. From beginning to end, the immaculate service was something We rarely experience & will never forget. Our server, Tony, was so incredibly attentive, polite, & great with recommendations. Being from Texas, You can find decent Mexican food on almost any street corner, but this restaurant was probably the best, TRULY authentic, fine Mexican dining We have ever come across. We look forward to another trip to Philly to be able to enjoy a dinner here again. Highly recommend.

Casual attire and the interior detail is great. Nice for a casual date night with the semi low lighting. I sat at the bar and ordered a refreshing Rose' margarita. The queso is very good. My steak and prawns was also good. Customer service was great. If you sit at the bar ask for Max, made very great recommendations.
Received great service and selection from this restaurant. I tried the Molcajete de Pollo lava bowl, Enchiladas Seafood Playa, and a drink. The flavors were great and the servings were super filling! Not too spicy either. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice Mexican spot in Philadelphia.
If you visit Philly, you must go to Tequilas for lunch or dinner. The menu is limited but so delicious that I have no problem getting the same 2 or 3 things every time. The atmosphere is unique and the Enchiladas Playa are incredible. The Tequilas Margarita with mango juice is my favourite drink.
Should have taken the pictures before we ate. Amazing food! So delicious! I can’t believe the wait isn’t out the door. Same waiter as we had before, and he is super amazing. Date night with mg husband totally worth time with him.
