Super fun bar with a very welcoming vibe! I always feel comfortable here. Everyone is supportive of each other at the piano bar and the pianists are absolutely incredible.

We go to Tavern every several weeks because we like their food, the service, and the funky atmosphere. Order anything on the menu; you’ll enjoy it!

I reall enjoy coming here. Very comfortable gay resturant with very good food. Seeing more customers from Knock come here since Knock has gone downhill.

I went there and they told me my Id was fake when I’m literally there all the time. The manger mike is racist and allow white people not only to say the n word in his bar but also all them to be chased out like an animal. I literally only there Micheal Raab

Friendly, attentive wait staff. Salmon was excellently prepared. Will be back.

The food and service is great. It's also priced well for a casual dinner. Much better dining experience than Knock.

The Tavern is a great place. Small, cozy, good food and very nice staff.

Wonderful evening! Great service, great food, terrific atmosphere, and just a perfect evening during our visit to Philly! Thank you.

It was great that they had a piano − it created a fun mood. They didn't have any good wine though. I tried some beer instead and it was gross. The experience ended up being a disappointment. Idk why it's so common for gay bars to have the same drinks menu as a dive bar ?

We got there very late for our reservation, arriving at 9:45 pm. The server was friendly and fun, At 10:45 pm, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 pm, I asked if there was any coffee available (we had a long drive home and needed the caffeine). Even though there was none made and the restaurant was practically empty, our server made us a fresh pot! One note: the restaurant is downstairs from a bar. The night we were there, there sounded like a piano bar and singing was going on upstairs. It wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear each other speaking, but I wouldn't characterize the restaurant as a place for a quiet dinner.
