Great, authentic tasting food. Came to meet with some friends and we were able to quickly get a table outside on a Friday night. The blood orange margaritas are delicious. The “fact” guac with corn and bacon was worth licking the bowl. Had the steak tacos which were delicious. Would recommend and come back! Locals also take out often for a great meal.
Popped in for lunch after seeing their sign on main st advertising Taco Tuesday for $3 off tacos/enchiladas. We sat at one of the outdoor booths and we had our two jack Russell terriers with us. We had the delicious Al pastor and carnitas tacos as well as the refreshing and inventive strawberry basil margarita. Our incredible waitress provided stellar service and even brought out “Doggy bottle service” (a big fresh dog bowl with ice cubes) for our pups. It feels so nice when establishments such as this one cater to your dogs to make them comfortable and hydrated on main st. As pet owners it makes us happy to be able to share these moments and memories with our dogs. We will be back soon!!
This was such a fun atmosphere. We went on Tuesday night, which they have $2 off tacos and enchiladas. The kitchen closes at 9pm, so get your food order in. The flavor of the foods were good and they were very accommodating for picky eaters. This restaurant also contributes to helping provide a livable wage for their employees, so there is a auto 20% for any bill over $75/table
?? Taqueria Amor - Manayunk - In a word ... Vibrant! I seem to only make it here every couple of years because parking in Manayunk gives me so much anxiety. Today was extremely easy though because of the foul weather. ? We were required to show our vaccine cards upon entry, which I appreciated that they were enforcing this city health statute. It wasn't crowded and we were thoroughly spaced out from the other customers there. We got the mango habanero margarita.... made with a chili salt on the rim and an extremely smooth tequila.... I rarely drink and I could have ordered a whole pitcher of this for myself. Spicy, fruity, salty and smooth! ?? For lunch we got the mahi-mahi tacos and the brisket enchilada. The brisket red chili sauce is quite exceptional, perfectly spiced (the chilis aren't overpowering) and it has such incredible depth to it.... so much that I ordered a pint of it to go. ? Their streeteries (outside seating) do have heated seating and they look quite festive. I haven't really eaten out in the past 2 months so this was a special treat!??My original plan was to go to either Bua Louy in Devon or White Yak in Roxborough... both of which are doing take-out only these days due to Omicron.... but happily landed at one of my favorite Mexican places!?? Overall, my mouth was very happy today!
I absolutely adore this restaurant, they have wonderful food, the staff is kind and helpful. They are able to accommodate a Gluten Free Celiac diet. They also have outdoor cabanas for dining Alfresco during uncertain times, and contract free menus
This place was really good! Very festive ! If you need a good place to go for a date night or girls outing this is the place. The food is 7/10. I’ll be honest I went for the environment mostly. I did go with an open mind on the food willingly knowing that it’s not really authentic Mexican food. But it was still enjoyable. I felt like our service was good but she was very overwhelmed with the orders. She did not offer us any straws, when we first sat down. But Overall it was a great experience this far.
Very busy place on a Saturday night. Outdoor and indoor seating available. It was an hour wait for a table. My partner and I were just getting drinks so there were 2 seats at the bar.Margaritas were great! We opted for a little snack and had shrimp quesadilla. It was packed with shrimp and cheese. I would go there again just to get another quesadilla.

Shrimp quesadillas were delicious and the Rudolph red nosed margarita was yummy too. They had a fun list of Christmas and grinchmas drinks. Will definitely be back.
