I love Tampopo, their food is always so good! Everything I’ve ever tried has been great, but especially their curries and noodle dishes, the kimbob roll is also great. Big portions, great price, great people! The 1980s Japanese comedy movie Tampopo is also hilarious and worth a watch, it’s about a restaurant of the same name. One of my favorite places in the city
I really like getting the spicy pork bowl, it's a generous serving.
I ate at Tampopo for the first time today, and I absolutely loved it. I recommend anyone in the Philadelphia area to try out their rice bowls.
Tampopo is my favorite place to eat and consistent
Pre-pandemic I used to come up here from Drexel once a month or so. The bibimbap is great and filling. Flavorful and always comes out piping hot! The rice is delicious and it always comes out just right. Service is friendly and the whole building is pretty unassuming if you don’t know where to look. I would highly recommend!
Very good parm and club sandwiches. Big selection of beers
I live Tampapo. As of at least 9-18-21, this location on 44th street is temporarily closed.
Love the food. Try pork kimchi, spicy chicken & spicy pork bowls
Used to go to the 21st street location. Trekked out to UC to satisfy my cravings. Well worth the hike! My husband and I got the spicy beef bento box, spicy yakisoba bowl, and egg cake (tamagoyaki). No picture of the last 2 items because I scarfed them down. We were stuffed and the taste was on point like always. Will come back again soon :)
Really liked the food. Enjoyed the spicy tofu bento box (mildly spicy). They also have a vegetarian menu!
