Very disappointing visit. Arrived at 9:58 and the place seemed shuttered. Guy went in at 10:00 but the place was still dead inside. For a bakery on a Saturday morning, I’d expect actual fresh baked stuff laid out. We were excited to visit Philly from NYC and hoped to try to GF pretzel.Nothing was laid out, and the guy inside was basically unresponsive/not awake yet. Maybe the afternoon is better but would not recommend going out of your way to visit this gluten free bakery.
Best GF bread and baked goods. We were in town visiting and bought rolls to take with us to get cheese steaks and bought extra to bring home with us to Florida.
What happened??? This bakery previously made some of the best gluten free cupcakes I HAD EVER TASTED. I requested them for my birthday recently and they were a lot smaller and really dry. Not good at all...I even called and left a message last week, no one has returned my call. Instead of using our local bakery we choose to travel a bit. I was very disappointed...?
This is a good store, but they don’t have a ton of options. The carrot cake was delicious! Affordable prices for gluten free.
I’ve never had a gf baguette this good in my life. And the biscotti crumbles perfectly and melts in your mouth.
Omg this place has gluten free cookies, bagels and soft pretzels!!!!
Great GF breads. In a league of his own. The prices very reasonable. Was able get my local grocery to carry these breads. If you’re not in South Philly, spread the love with your local store…
Absolutely flawless delivery. We live in jersey and having tried it one time when visiting Philly, we had to have more. Will order from wherever as long as they deliver ??
The appearance isn't what you'd expect from a GF bakery, but the bread texture and flavor is what makes this place spectacular. Get it fresh rather than what's in the freezer. The baguette is my favorite buy so far. Some brighter lighting in the storefront might make the space seem more welcoming.
I use to get a lot of rolls and bread here for my son. They are way over priced! I know gluten free cost more but not $3.00 for one small roll! That’s just ridiculous! It shouldn’t cost more then 4 times the amount of a regular roll. I could see double but not 4 times more. I now only go there occasionally when needed because there is no where else that makes gluten free rolls. They need competition to lower their prices.
