The food was new and everything made in-house, even the chocolate cake. The server was educated and had incredible suggestions. My most loved was the octopus followed by the pizza, but everything was superb! I wish it a little greater however no bad things to say.
Easily my favorite restaurant in Philly- and it’s BYOB! I have been to Stina on several occasions and the food is always excellent. The dishes are approachable and always masterfully plated. The flavors of my favorite dishes are always consistent no matter how busy it is and there is so much diversity of dishes on the menu. I can’t say enough good things about this place!Affordable, unpretentious, delicious food.
Hands down, the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Philly, or maybe ever. The waiter, a gem. Patient, helpful, kind, not at all bothered by my questions and requests. The atmosphere, food, full package. I highly recommend. I hope to go again before we return home.
Located in the quaint Girard Estate neighborhood. It has the cozy neighborhood feel and with world renowned ingredients and styles. The service is amazing and the BYOB makes it that more special. The soppressata pizza is the best over ever had! The spanakopita is delicious and soft! A must have! It’s a place to visit regularly.
Always on the hunt for good Greek/East Med food, I’ve been wanting to check out Stina for a while now, and I can happily say I wasn’t disappointed! The food was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the octopus (which had a mild and spicy sauce to accompany it) which was cooked to perfection. The pizza was enjoyable and the Turkish dumplings (lamb) were out of this world good. I want to say there was saffron in the sauce maybe, it was delicious! I look forward to going back soon, with some wine next time!Μπράβο φίλε μου!!
Great food, excellent service
Fantastic food! Very creative and beautiful presentation.
Bobby and his crew always are top notch, the service, the food and drink. The streeterie is cute and quaint with an old timey feel so you can relax and enjoy your meal, your company and the service. BYO and Ariana is GREAT! The seasonal menu is always exciting and fresh and the visiting chefs for neighboring restaurants is always fun. They do a lot for the community and give back their whole selves. Just good people.
We went there for dinner and the food was OK. We started with the turkish mushroom dumplings which were good as well as the onion fritters which were OK--the fritters were fine but the sauce (turmeric yogurt) they were served with just tasted like raw turmeric. For the main meal we got a mushroom pide which was OK except there was too much cheese and the eggplant pizza which we didnt like--the eggplant wasn't really cooked through and the cheese was again too heavy. All in all, it was an OK meal--we won't be going back.
I’ve now eaten at Stina twice and both times it was amazing. The first time the Moroccan Carrots stood out as the crowd favorite. The second time we got pizzas to go and they were all incredible.
