We recently had a funeral, we hired Steve Steins to cater. The food was delicious and well displayed. Everyone was pleased. No disappointment. Thank you.
Love there fruits & veggies plus everything in the store. Original deli great sit & eat or take out.
Let me start off by saying they have good food and good people working there. My wife and I have been going there for breakfast (and other things) at least once a week for a few years now. Unfortunately we will no longer give them our business. We always get coffee and water with our breakfast, I ask for a large cup of water and it was never an issue. Today during my Father's Day breakfast the staff told me they got admonished because they are not allowed to give out large sized waters due to the cup price have risen. I get it I do, we are all feeling it. But for loyal customers that goes there weekly buying our breakfast (and more) there, even getting take out during the closure from the pandemic mandates this is utterly ridiculous. To worry about a 10 cent, or heck if it even cost 25 cents, why insult loyal and steady customers over that? It makes no sense but it is there business and their decision if it's worth it to lose good customers. I even told the owner's wife who was there helping out. She went to her husband Steve and apparently he stuck by that saying that the prices for those cups went up "astronomically". She actually came back to the table with another tiny cup of water. I couldn't believe it. We always had nice things to say about Steins. There are plenty of other places to get breakfast that are closer. We will miss the staff and especially Allison. Allison always made our day. She is a wonderful person and so is the rest of the staff. We have gotten to know them and always enjoyed their company. Don't get me wrong, food is good and of course the staff is awesome, but if you want to nickle and dime a good, loyal and steady customer, especially during these times, I will no longer give you my money. It's just that simple. I am hoping maybe this still is some big misunderstanding and we get some sort of resolution so that we can continue to come back. If not, that is fine too. I will save on gas which is what really went up "astronomically". Thank you.
This deli was recommended by my neighbor. I ordered a couple of corn beef specials. We were not disappointed. I will visit again.
Another great experience at Steve’s a real relaxed atmospheres with great service but most importantly good food at a fair price.
Nova! Corned beef! Pickled sour tomatoes! The freshest Jewish rye & bagels! What's not to love?
This is an amazing throwback to the northeast Jewish neighborhood of the 1970s. Wow! Its has both Western European and Eastern Jewish Delicacies. Everything is fresh and made to perfection. They even make their own meats, like cornbeef. Its amazing! Got to try it!
First time there with my dad today. The place was filled with people...either sitting down eating at the back diner...or ordering from the GREAT deli and/or bakery with fresh breads, cookies, apple cakes, and dounuts. I really really enjoyed being there. It was very welcoming environment with the workers smiling and looking like they like their jobs (which is refreshing to see in today's world where our working class people gets treated like trash..while the unemployed get paid more and more). I picked up a turkey hoagie and some cookies and apple cake. I can't wait to try the hoagie as soon as I get home! Next time I go there, me and dad are going to eat there.
Restaurant section dingy. Two people ordered, the first person was served, the second one 5 minutes later. Sandwich bread was stale. Waitrtess very pleasant, but rushed.
very good food and the employees very nice. place is clean 2
