Love the bagle and the staffs are so friendly! Will visit again definitely
Stopped here on a whim. I was hungry and excited to try these, but I fear I set my expectations too high. These bagels have the PERFECT texture (crunchy exterior, chewy interior)…but LACK flavor. I’ve never had a bland onion bagel but I now know it’s possible. Decent customer service, though.
Incredibly disappointing. This is now the second order of 3 or more breakfast sandwiches and they each time have been extremely poorly prepared. Despite notes being specified each time, they are ignored. The food is extremely greasy and flavorless. Sad having limited options early in center city and this is one of them.
Good bagels and sandwiches, front desk staff was rude and didn't wear her mask over her nose. What's the point of wearing one if it's not even covering your face. I see this at a lot of food establishments. It's like it's that big of a deal to wear a mask that covers your nose. I work all day in a mask and my job is very physical and my mask is always on correctly
Maybe their bagels have to be an acquired taste…it was like eating a stale piece of cake. Within a few hours after purchasing them they were stale enough to knock a hole through a brick wall….mmm….I would think twice before going there….of course maybe eating on premises might be different but takeout not so good! Oh, and the guy overcharged me…they say one price on the website and charged a higher price
The best bagel spot in the area!Ended up coming back 4 times; that's how good they are. Good variety of the spreads as well! The service isn't always friendly and seems a bit rude, but they work fast and efficient, so maybe it's just a Philly feature.
The food and coffee is great. Unfortunately, the staff ruins the experience. When you greet them, they don't speak. They just immediately ask what you want. No one smiles or exchanges a warm greeting. When ordering, if you don't add a detail they need, they take on an extremely rude tone. When your food is ready, they throw your items on the counter. All of this extremely rude behavior is done in front of the manager, who does nothing about it. During my last visit, I was waiting for my coffee and one of the associates brushed past me aggressively without as much as an "excuse me". Horrible service. Horrendous.
Pleasantly surprised! Stopped in by chance when I was craving a bagel one morning (we’d moved from NJ and had yet to find a good bagel!) These were just crisp enough but still warm and soft in the inside! Also enjoyed the veggie cream cheese :-)
This was my final try at Spread. Somehow every time I come my order is so off. Today I ordered a scooped everything bagel with egg whites, turkey bacon, tomato, and onion. I got an everything bagel with cheese (?), not scooped, and no tomato or onion. And the most frustrating part is that the slip attached my bagel has my order correct! Doesn’t make sense. Will not be returning.
