One of my favorite eatery at the University City. Always bought the Cure with everything bagel and taste of awesomeness hasn’t changed in many years visiting Spread Bagelry. The service is great and once u place ur order, you will be called when it’s ready to takeaway or dine inside. Dining inside or their patio is great and they also have assorted beers night freezer or some drafts on tap. I have enjoyed brunch there many times watching some sports games in the weekend. A must place to visit when in the University City. Cheers ?
The bagels here take forever (sometimes over an hour) and taste like loaves of bread rather than bagels. It’s also wildly expensive for no reason. The employees are also incredibly rude to customers. I’d rather take the extra 2 minute walk to Schmear for quicker, less expensive, and nicer service.
Good bagels, but I had to wait over an hour for a sandwich after being told it would be a thirty minute wait. Seems poorly managed but can’t argue with the quality of the food.
Fast and Nice service. Built my own breakfast sandwich with eggs, tomato, spinach, sausage, and avacado. it was pretty good. Great everything bagels
Excellent bagels and bagel sandwiches! Most toppings I've seen and not just on the top. ?
The “manager” couldn’t have been more rude and obnoxious to my husband in person then when I called because she decided what milk to choose to put in my coffee even though my online order specified she then hung up on me. She said she was the manager, I would hope that this isn’t the face representing your business. All customers in the shop were being ignored. We will never go there again.
Good everything bagel toasted with plain cream cheese! Not quite tasty like real Montreal bagels, but great breakfast options on campus.
The sesame seed bagel was good. It was dense. There was a lot of good meat. It was pulled apart fairly well. There was a good amount of cheese. The horseradish mayo was very good. The menu says it comes with an au jus. The meat was moist but between the dense bagel and thick’ish meat this sandwich would have benefitted from more au jus.
How I've missed this little tucked away gem is hilarious! Always on the hunt for unique sandwich spots that add in either great coffee or great beer! This university city jawn has both. Add in a little mini outdoor patio corner and the world's alright for that moment. Had the everything bagel egg white omelette with mushrooms and turkey bacon! Bagel fresh n fluffy, mushrooms marinated and not from a can and the turkey bacon selection actually was smokey good. And didn't taste like the insole of a sneaker!
Best Bagel Place I've been to in Philadelphia
