The place is decorated nice and the tables are spaced out well inside. They offer outdoor seating as well. There are several televisions around the place. Went for a lunch last mid-week and it was not busy. The prices are fair. They have a bar with a draft list and city-wide specials. We were referred here for the wings ($12.00) and their homemade wing sauces. The wings and fries were very well done. The sauces really didn't come through due to this. I rated it a '3' because: of the above mentioned; had to ask staff for all that we needed instead of them checking on us; the owner was there playing darts and didn't speak when we said hello (he did associate with what seemed to be already established customers) and there was vulgarity on the bathroom walls. For the limited menu and the above, I would likely not return.
This place is SO good. First let's start with the sauces. All of their sauces are made in house. The honey ketchup and honey mustard are so good that I may buy a bottle as I sit here and type this. The food was quick, hot and delicious. We had the chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast bowls, spicy chicken sandwich and the cheesesteak omelet. It was such a good brunch. I'd post a pic but we crushed the food.
I really like this place. I have celiac, so this is a must-stop for me in Philly. Great pub grub, fun atmosphere!
High quality food. The wings were some of the best I've eaten, big, crispy, and spicy. Very good, mostly local beer list. Excellent service in a bright, well spaced environment. Plenty of TVs.
This place has a great vibe with some really good food and drinks. This is a worth it location. Great food at great prices. Staff was very attentive and friendly.
Food is absolutely delicious and gluten free is an added plus. Definitely a must visit for before or after any Philly sports game. Get the fried mozzarella 100%.
Awesome staff. They have a dart team on Tuesdays that you'd be lucky to get a spot on, but you should def try if you're so inclined. And they STILL have a real, live $5 dollar city wide ?. Seriously come buy one. I'll be drunk on a stool, say hello.
We wanted to explore South Philly during playoffs - found this gem on Google and took a chance - we absolutely loved it and will be back. Great atmosphere for the game, delicious food with homemade sauces, Anthony (owner) was our server and checked on us throughout the whole day - we tried so much from the menu (gluten free options that actually taste great)! Highly recommend the Buffalo wings, burger + the Peanut Butter Bomb (you gotta). Couldn’t be happier with how our day turned out at South House!
This is a cute little place that I knew nothing about, the atmosphere was very welcoming ..staff was super friendly..I went with my Goddaughter to go see a band, Romaine the child, ...the band was really really awesome! The food was great! I will definitely be visiting this place again ...
How can you not love this place? I went here for the first time last week to watch a Temple football game. The staff is amazing. The food is great. They have a really good drink menu as well. The only thing I feel could be changed is the seating arrangements. It is a smaller place, but I feel like more tables could be fit in there. When it’s busy and can be hard to find a spot. Other than that this place is amazing and he will have a wonderful time. I definitely recommend this place if you were coming to watch any type of sporting event. There are TVs everywhere. Thank you to South house for the great experience.
