My husband and I went here for the first time for his birthday and everything was amazing!!! The restaurant is a whole vibe!!! Waiter was great!!! We had counter seats and was able to see them preparing the food which my husband lovedâ¦the food was amazing from start to finish!!! The cornbread is the best!!! Our food came out quickly we didnât have to wait!! Dinner did not disappoint at all everything 10/10 !!! Please donât walkâ¦run to south if you are in the area!!!
I expected better for it to be southern cuisine. It was blah. The cornbread was dry. The chicken wasn't cooked all the way. The collard greens were bad.
Absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, to our amazing server Guy and the fantastic food. Definitely a must! The ambiance was amazing and everything was delicious!

Service by Kayla and Kayla was great. Food was delicious. We ordered vegan jambalaya, fried chicken, catfish, ribs, mac and cheese, and cornbread. The only comment was the sweet potatoes needed to be stringed.
The food was good. I ordered the fried chicken. This is my second time here. My only complaint is too many stems in the collards and the sweet potatoes were very stringy. I ate my appetizer and packed up my entrée. So Iâm just eating it and noticed the issue with the collards and stringy sweet potatoes.

I had a really great experience for my 2nd time, my dates first. The service was exceptional, our server, Terry went above and beyond ensuring that our time there was worthwhile and memorable. The ambiance of the resturant was calm and fitting for our first date where we was able to converse and be able to hear each other. I will highly recommend coming here if youâre looking for an upscale black owned resturant. The food was delectable from appetizer to main course. Southern food with a nice twist. OMG, make sure to try an old Fashion Bulliet with a splash of amaretto a recommendation from our server, which was a great choice of libation.
