Just tried this place and can’t wait to go back. The food was phenomenal. Everyone loved their food! We had the home made mozz with roasted red peppers, rigatoni vodka, chicken Sicilian, eggplant parm, gnocchi vodka. Cannoli and tiramisu. Blown away. Also adorable family running it who were very nice. My friend didn’t realize his entree had an allergen in it until it arrivedAnd they re made it for him and were super nice about it.
Fantastic authentic Italian food. Nice family who owns it. BYOB. Quiet. But really the food was really impressive.
I love this neighborhood gem. Food is delicious, always fresh and the family that runs it is very friendly.
My sister and husband had their rehearsal dinner at South Philly Italian Kitchen and it was wonderful. The staff decorated the restaurant beautifully and treated us like family! The food tasted like it was made with love (especially the cannolis). You definitely should try out this restaurant you want a restaurant that feels like home!
We explained that we were going to a concert, but I had to encourage the wait staff to get our dinner. There were only three other tables being served, but it seems a lot of takeout. All in all it is a good meal and a nice evening.
Doesn't look like much, but it's a great place to eat.
Love it here - unpretentious. Neighborhood "gem." Very reasonable. Very "old Italian." The waitstaff was very attentive. BYOB. Friendly, the Food was good - especially the eggplant. Could have used a little more taste. You can honestly go in your gym clothes. I will be back for sure.

Great intimate date night. The boss Pasta was amazing. My date had the sausage pasta dish wish he lived.
