Great service… considerate… they make you knowledgeable to the food when you don’t have a clue what the ingredients might be… lol
I went here last month sometime. Food was ok, until I found a roach in it, never again. They say when you find 1 there’s plenty more
Love their food, first started going here with my boyfriend we were looking for African food a year ago near us. I always get the jollof rice and chicken, he always gets the talipia with attieke. Both are very good. I went with my friend and she loved everything she tried the talipia with jollof! She actually went on and ordered something different the okra soup and never thought I’d say this but I love it, it was sooooooo spicy. Wasn't as slimy as others, But if you don’t like spicy don’t try it ! So tasty though. Sometimes the old guy at the front is rude sometimes, he’s ok. I guess he has his days nonetheless the food is so good other than that it’s clean very spacious. Food is definitely made to order so either call or just go in sometimes you call they still don’t make until you get there.

Horrible customer service! Very Ghetto! I ordered food off of grub hub they sent me the wrong food. A guy that worked the front told me the next time he would give me a free order of the mistake he made next time I order. Today Sunday 12/5/21 a girl answered very rude and inconsiderate about the situation and was arguing with me about food that was owed to me! Long story short don’t deal with them! This place is very ghetto, unorganized, and poorly managed! If they don’t care about the customers they damn sure don’t care about the food they prepare for you! Do you self a favor and take the drive to Sweeties African food Restaurant on Frankford Ave … people with class! Instead dealing with these untrained kids at Soul of Africa!
Old Egusi soup .. ( rotten soup )???Smell and tasted like it’s been 6 days old .I almost throwed up ?… Never again.
I have been ordering and eating from soul of Africa since they first opened over this time. The food has gotten less and less delicious and less attractive I pay $17 for a piece of tilapia that looked like it could have been a goldfish it was so small this is not the first time the last time they gave me two pieces they were so small and today I delivered by DoorDash and when I opened my container there it is one piece of tilapia so small it can be considered a cold fish I don't appreciate it after being a loyal customer and patronizing them for the duration of their business I will not order from them again and I am very displeased with my services over there one time I ordered through DoorDash and I ordered two juices they didn't send me any and I had to go into the store and go get it so I pay for DoorDash for nothing this is not the only two issues that I have had I just don't feel like getting into all of the other ones I am so over soul of Africa I really don't appreciate supporting black onwnes businesses and getting worse treatment than the norm
The food was horrendous. As a Nigerian, this was the worst. The Goat meat was not done in my Ogbono soup. The fish in the Egusi Soup was old. My mother was sick for a few days. For people who want top tier Nigerian food, this is not the place. The customer service was good, but paying $41 dollars for uncooked and old food was very disappointing,
This use to he one of my favorite spots. The customer service has fallen off bad. I called today to order my food at 9:40. The place closes at 10. Apparently they don't take phone orders after 930. Some girl or lady refuses to take my order because she says they are closed. I tell her I'm 15 min away and I will be there 5 min before closing. She tell me they have to clean up and go home. They can not take my order over the phone. Bad attitude. I then ask her what her name is to identify whom Im taking to. She says her name does not matter. I asked can I speak to someone else, and she says she is the one I am speaking to.. no one else is there to help me. All I wanted to do was order food to pick up and go home. Her attitude was not nice. I will not be returning. Simply because of this lady's unaccomadating attitude. Very condescending
The food was good not as I expected but would try again just request to be more spicy
