So I don’t know who was working there November 2021-March 2022 but I tried this place for the first time ever and every single time I ordered a classic they gave me the “super” size apparently and I assumed THAT was the classic because today I got the classic and they gave me the smaller cup and I was very confused after getting the super size literally over 10 times when ordering a classic… I had walked back and asked them and they told me it was the classic. I’m mostly curious if it happened to other people because my mind is blown at how small it is for how expensive ($16) ? always tastes great though ??

Very yummy chai bowls!

The açaí bowl itself is great, but the service is the worst that I have ever gotten. Not even hello when I walked in, now even one smile, so depressing. They don't give you the feeling of welcome, even to sit down and eat.

Ever since moving to Philly three months ago, I’ve been going to Sobol in Rittenhouse on a weekly basis. This is ending today.I love the food but my recent experiences there have been horrible - primarily due to customer service. Some restaurants hire employees that are friendly and uplifting. Not Sobol - they hire people who act like they don’t want to work there. I don’t want to cast a blanket judgement on the entire staff but some of the employees I dealt with were just outright rude and I walked out on two occasions in a negative mood.Additionally, the store doesn’t respect its store hours! I walked in once 30 mins before closing time and they wouldn’t serve me. Just today, I decided to kick off the New Year with Açaí from Sobol. I ordered my food at 12pm and the employee told me that I couldn’t eat in the restaurant because they were closing at 1pm! I reiterated that the store was still open for another hour, and she said I couldn’t eat inside while she was cleaning up the store. No thanks - I’m going to Playa Bowl a block away from now on. It’s a tad bit more pricey but I’ll pay extra to avoid being in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

I had never had an acai bowl before this, but it was honestly amazing. It tasted better than ice cream! I was blown away by how delicious it was. I got the kid size, which was almost too filling for me. I added peanut butter, which was a slam dunk. Still can't believe how tasty this was. 100% recommend!

I walk here once a week at least to get my sunshine bowl. I'm big on having a great customer service and they do deliver. From what I see, they hire young and the people they have there now are well mannered and get my order correct every time.

Loves the bowls, the place is cute and the workers are really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I have been going to SoBol Rittenhouse for a couple of years and I will walk out of my way to get their acai bowls. I have never had a bad service experience there until the other day. Since the mask mandate had been lifted a few weeks ago I had been in there and the wearing of the mask was optional. So I didn't think anything of it when I walked over there the other day and did not have a mask. There was no sign on the door or anything telling you to have one because I understand the importance of playing by the rules. I did not get two feet in the door before I was rudely confronted for not wearing a mask and was berated for not having one by the person working there and they refused to take my order. I was not rude or anything and just left however the establishment way want to think about notifying their customers of their mask policy in a polite way and not make the customer feel like a horrible person for not having one. Maybe have a box of masks behind the counter and offering them to the customers who don''t have one before you let them walk out of your restaurant or put a simple sign on the door letting people know masks are required in there. If there had been a sign I never would have gone in without a mask and gotten berated for it. It's a shame because now I'll think twice before ever going back.

Just bought an acai bowl. I said no coconut, that's what all over the top. Not happy. I will not go there again.
