Suffered allergic reaction due to staff neligenceWe visited on Sunday July 10, 2022. We ordered an acai bowl for one of us who is allergic to both gluten and dairy.The order system is automatic but there is a staff on duty. We tried to confirm that our order would not contain allergens or be contaminated.The staff member was rude, arrogant, and impatient. Annoyance was on full display when we said we would like to make sure there is no dairy product or gluten contamination. To be fair, we only asked two short questions.Sure enough, after consuming the fruit bowl the one with food allergy suffered allergic reaction. We are 100% sure it was the bowl as the person only had the bowl and some water that morning.I am writing this w a realistic expectation that nothing would be done by the store. Neither would anything be done to the employee nor any behavioral change on the positive side.The sole purpose for this review is to let anyone with food allergy or other restrictions know that SoBol isn't the caring, safe food place the brand would like you to believe. And be careful when you consume their product.
So, they don’t allow you to substitute the fruit, yet charge you to add the fruit of your choice. The bowl is super small… and might I add, not only did they get my order wrong, but the staff is rude as hell. I paid damn near $20 for a pitaya bowl to my liking. NEVER again.
Avoid! Ordered açaí bowl and smoothie at kiosk. Paid. Then told “no smoothies today” will process refund. Got bowl, then told “no eat in.” Another group had just finished eating and left. Bad experience.
One of the employees is very rude to the customers-yelling at people not to move tables together to sit with each other and what not. If you feel like paying $10+ for an average Açaí bowl and getting yelled at by the employees, this may be the place for you. If not, stay far away from here.
Love the food but the person behind the counter is incredibly rude. I don’t want to spend my money there because of her. Horrible!!!
Incrediibly rude service. 3 friends came and bough Acais. We all had individual, negative experiences with the staff (male with a cap) and we ended up leaving. Hopefully this will change for a future refernence.
